Emerging saga happening between Amber D and Ilogik in the Hard Trance community. Looking at Facebook, he has some contacts in our scene.
Both are Tidy Trax DJ's, but it looks like Ilogik has been accused of harassment in form of constant death threats to her and to her label over the period of about a year. He denies doing anything more than pranking her, but the Police appear to have linked him to 60 instances of harrassments. Doesn't look like they have enough to charge him with the crime of harassing with intent to fear for life. He claims that the lack of charge exonerates him, but it could also indicate he's covered his tracks. He has received a caution, and that will stay with him and confirms some level of guilt. Big grey area between being guilty and innocent in the UK. Police have a lot of box-ticking to do to charge someone with a crime.
Ultimately, what he feels is a prank, however threatening or scary, is not acceptable. The term prank is subjective, so assuming that you're doing something you find funny can cause a lot of harm. A prank to one can be a threat to someone and their family. There has been a targeted victim, and someone has predated on that fear. The term 'prank' is a thinly veiled lie, that's one man's opinion.
My personal opinion is that Amber has been through some real shit. I'm a grown man who can look after himself and that kind of stuff would **** me up. The odd occassion? Very funny if you're 12. Prolonging it for a year - as alleged - would absolutely crumble someone's mental health. I hope Amber gets the help she needs to move past it, and I hope justice catches up to the offender. They clearly have a dangerously unhealthy obsession with her.
Credit to her, she's snapped back by making the whole situation public. I hope doing so doesn't land her in hot water.

Ilogik has also taken to Facebook to respond to this, and he's done himself no favours imo. In a hideously written essay, he's made an accusation of 'deformation of character', but I'm sure he means defamation. If that's true, he has a real case - these are both very visible, public people.

Ilogik was originally a hardcore producer, but using a slightly different name, E-Logic.
In the UK, can't you give the police the permission to see your phone records? I'm pretty sure that Phone companies will ALWAYS be able to see the phonenumber, regardless if they're listed as private or not.
