every Sharkey mix on bonkers is completely different sounding to the other 2 mixxes in the album, what 'style' of hardcore does he do? i dont know the styles all i know is that scott brown does too much Gabber, or what ever that is =]
Ps, if you could, could you list the styles of each DJ that you know of? ie: scott brown / Gabber...etc =]

Sharkey does freeform, some would call it trancecore as well.. but some also refer to gabber as trancecore.

People like to mash all sorts of things under "happy hardcore", when the only true, true happy hardcore is the type of music put on the Happy 2B Hardcore and older Bonkers CDs.
For example, looking at IMO Records, the only track on the first page of the latest releases that is true happy hardcore is Spree - Neverending Hardcore. All the rest of them have influences from another type of music. (And even the Spree track has a little bit of an edge to it.)

sorry but i dont know what breakbeat or bouncy sounds like =[ i have probably heard some songs like that but have no idea how specific they sound, and names of songs tthat are breakbeat'y or bouncy?

Not true. There is, however, a style of gabber that is referred to as "trancecore" in some places.

i remember the "kenneth" term from the happy hardcore mailing list but i never really knew who came up with the name or if it was just an inside joke... can anyone explain? 
anyway, to get back on topic i would say that i call what sharkey is playing freeform too! <grin>
trancecore has always been an ambiguous name for that genre.

To me Happy Hardcore is everything which is fast, happy and with a kick in it which isn't too hard. Used to have a lot of piano and bells in it, nowadays has a lot of influences from styles such as hardhouse and trance.
The stuff Scott Brown does a lot (especially the tracks towards the ends of his mix on Bonkers 9) is simply called 'hardcore' here in the Netherlands... some people call it 'MOH-style' here, since all CDs released in the dutch Masters of Hardcore series (chapter 12 just has been released: ).http://www.mastersofhardcore.com/Catalogue/cds/mohcdXII.html) contain exactly this type of music. Other DJ's who produce in this genre are DJ Delirium, The Headbanger, DJ Paul, Rotterdam Terror Corps, DJ Promo, etc... I believe you guys call that 'gabber', a term used here for someone listening to that type of music, and in the past for the music itself too.
Furthermore there's the even harsher and rougher stuff. We call that 'industrial'. I'm talking about DJ's such as Hellfish, the DJ Producer, Simon Underground, Laurent Ho, Manu le Malin, etc...
Last but not least there's terror and speedcore: somewhat similar to industrial, only a lot faster (industrial is about 150-180 BPM, terror/speedcore up to 700).

freeform - sharkey,sunrize,tilz,pre dawn chaos
gabber - neophyte,producer,rob gee,omar santana
happy hardcore - OLD stuff like sy,brisk,etc from way back(ie the first few bonkers cds)
upfront - newer brisk,hixxy,style,breeze,scott browns soft stuff
everything else you hear are just little sub genres of these 4 main ones imo...

Also, the meaning of the word 'oldschool' seems different in the Netherlands and the UK. As far as I know it's very break-beat like music in the UK (like the first track on the Mixmag CD), here though, oldschool is simply very old electronical music (1991-1992 usually) from the time when electronical music (which we call house, but that's something different in the UK) wasn't divided into all those subgenres like mellow, club, techno, trance or hardcore yet... stuff like the first House Party CD's... 'Mainx - 88 to Piano' and 'DHS - the house of god' are still the best examples :-)

i dont know about hte uk, but over in the states oldskool is old electronic music, very breakbeaty, around 135-140 bpm, so alot like what hydra is speaking of...
but in there is also an oldskool revival called nu oldskool, which is all the new KFA tunes, and ham is doing some weird dnb/nu oldskool things right now on NG
