Australian hardcore dj/producer just got diagnosed with stage 2 pancreatic cancer. His doctors told him he's had it for probably 2 years now but he's just now getting diagnosed for it. He's only 25 years old, but Auscore said it's hereditary. Sending him my best wishes to fight this cunt!

Okay... so I originally read that he only have 2 years left. I should re-read things sometimes.
... But then I just heard that John Hurt had died, and he had early stage pancreatic cancer. :(

Well I can't blame the last bit on "lost in translation", but then we can't beat around the bush either. It's Cancer. Cancer never dissapears, no matter how well treated or how well the person gets after treatments.
I don't know what Hurt died off, as someone had updated wiki that the illness had been into remission since last year, but newspapers are writing he battled the cancer for a long time (which I presume they are implying that the cancer took his life in the end).
Trying to google the illness doesn't give much hope though :(

John Hurt didn't die of cancer. He beat it. He had long-running health issues that weren't related to the cancer, but probably aggravated by the treatment for it.
I think it's insensitive to be making ridiculous prognosis' about this.

Oh no, that's so young :/. Pancreatic cancer is a rough one too - his chances of making it through are pretty slim I imagine :(.
Send him all my regards, he was never a huge guy but some of one off/dlable productions were my favourites ever ..

I had taken a big break from the forums and discussions for a few years, and read somewhere that Auscore has passed. Obviously didn't believe it at first so I had to see what was up and damn, that really hit me, such a young guy.
