Only got back into uk hardcore 4 months ago since the end of the 90s and I have a style of track I love but don't know what its called, Ive been calling it jump up hardcore for lack of a better name ... for the most part but not always the kick drum and bass hit at the same time on these trax. insted of the nomal kick and bass note on note 3 x 4 to make a bar
Go to 1:12.10 this is a great example of what i mean and lots more trax like it on this mix I did, This style is very different to the traditional uk happy hardcore i grow up with,
So Does this style have a name ?

I only ask because my last trip to juno I went trough 700 tunes and only found a few like this.

Sounds like "modern" uk hardcore to me.
I think another term might be electro hardcore.

All the electro hardcore ive listened to so far (only 30mins granted) is super close just much slower than the 178bpm I play at but pitch it up some of these trax would sound like what I play ... will keep investigating ..... thanks ever so much for the point in the right direction ...

pretty close to electrocore , but kind of with some of those current hardstyle/dub/ trap elements gammer uses alot now.

By chance the other day I spoke to cotts during a live stream , I forgot how much I liked hes sets , so I watched a few youtube sets after ... he had done 2 japan hardcore sets .. so I played them and bingo ... the style of track I like is or is inspired by japan hardcore.
im not going to just play japan hardcore that might be a bit to much but playing the odd track in a uk hardcore set I think works very well ..
so im happy now , big thanks to everyone that tried to help me... with a bit of luck I will be posting downloadable mixes on hh.com from now on ....
