Resist was not distributed via Amato, two separate bankruptcies, in a nutshell, Amato went bankrupt after merging with Unique distribution, Resist went bankrupt after one of their other dance compilations sold badly and had quite alot of returns.

Ah thanks for that, I clearly haven't been following this closely! Although, my question still stands as to whether the artists who lost out will be repaid.

i think its just a bit early to be passing judgement int it? even if AATW do buy the rights to bonkers, theyve already got CLXH. they might not want another. so if they dont try and influence bonkers too much sureley this can only be a good thing. more money, better advertising and publicity and could attract more people to the scene which isnt neccesserily a bad thing, is it?

People need to stop whinging about bonkers "not being bonkers anymore" because AATW will buy the rights to it.

AATW is a business - why would they have two exact same CDs? Not very beneficial to them is it. Why the hell would they make a CD exactly like the one theyve got?

Depends on the deal they take on, but more than likely not.

No, I also liked CXH4 and bonkers 17 as well. I also like Euphoria Hardcore, H Adrenaline 1 & 2 (not 3), HU 1 & 2, and a few other ones that have been highly criticized as being crap to many ppl on here. The thing is hardcore comes in different styles from commercial to cheezy to underground. There truly is something for everyone. I enjoy every single style of hardcore, maybe not so much gabber but there are some good trax from it that I like.

Yes I understand how ppl are worried about commercialization ruining the scene and the whole genre, but what if it does? Do you really think that it will last? I'm seeing so many jumpstyle or hardstyle tracks right now and it more than likely won't last. Yes commercialization is a fad.

Do we remember how we all have talked about how the 2000 era of hardcore sucked? how many of us stuck to the scene while all the criticism happened? fans and djs/producers? I truly believe that if you are a tru hardcore fan, you would stick to the scene through thick and thin, the good and bad. ppl who just come in midway and suddenly leave because it's no longer 'underground' are not tru fans.

I for one have not been a hardcore fan for a long time. I actually became one during the 2000 year and since then have collected tracks in the genre from 95 to present. The scene has change drastically, but the music is still good. It may not be as fast as it once was but I will still stick to it through thick and thin, good or bad.

yeh i got into hardcore from bonkers 7,and alot of people slag it,but i now listen 2 all types of hardcore from 1990-present,and i love it all so cum on somebody buy bonkers, even though when i first seen this topic i went oh no not aatw

bonkers has always been the one 'proper' hardcore mainstream album serious showcasing nearly all styles of hardcore

aatw's idea of hardcore is donk for christ sake, its going to be darren 'play me anything thats even slightly bangin n ill cry cos i cant handle anything that isn't gay' styles for 3 cds

i hope next generation buy it... they wud make a proper job.

n i want another bonkers 15 please
