I knew that everyone would be having a winge about this as soon as it was posted.
I think its a good thing, aslong as anyone steps in to continue Bonkers.
Bonkers has always been about trying new things, and thats one of the factors that has made it so successful.

A company like AATW will likely restrict how much they can experiment though. No doubt they will say it can only be put out if it has a naked girl on the front, is mixed by "top dj's" and only contains cheeser anthems.

I'll be happy to be proven wrong though.

bonkers has always had its unique style and as long as it is kept to the original bonkers format whoever takes it over i will be happy...the bonkers brand would not be abused as a selling point for aatw....well i hope not anyway...

Yeah you're probably right. The company will influence what goes on the Cd, but i'll choose to buy it regardless.

get gammer on the next bonkers pleaseeeeeeeee

it wont happen but id like to see the following (assuming styles, breeze, sy & unknown wont feature..)
cd 1 hixxy(with his better mixes, not the clubland x ones) & squad-e
cd2 gammer n dougal
cd3 either joey riot & kurt or sharkey n kevin energy (or even put the others on a 4th cd ;)

scott brown/brisk should be on aswell i suppose... **** it make it a 5 cd-er

Hixxy does clubland xtreme hardcore.

Dougal & Gammer have True Hardcore.

Sharkey IS Bonkers.

Line-up for 17 was pretty much spot on IMO, I'd hope they'd stick w/ it for Vol 18 at least.

Getting some newbies on once it's re-established might be nice, any of the HU DJs would be fine ;)

Sounds good.

I'm still sticking by my idea of an international Bonkers. Say 3 CD's - one UK, one USA & one Japan. Mixed by DJ's from the respective countries and featuring tracks from the respective countries.

*edit*

Make that 4 CD's - can't forget Australia

That's a excellent idea.
Spot on!

I'd like to see a completely different dj lineup on bonkers with some different crossovers

Disk 1 Sy & Brisk
Disk 2 Kutski & Clsm
Disk 3 Neophyte & scott brown

can nukleuz or sv afford to buy bonkers?

and why cant sharkey claim it as his or something like that?

i dont want aatw to buy bonkers as they would take advantage of the popularity and sales figures for it and put stupid commercialised crap on it..

i just want it back to a 'hardcore' record company because i dont think you can get it better than it used to be
