well? (The adds that "sponser" this site...)
there are some good ones, like "Vinyl Dance Music Store" - selling vinyl etc... but there are 2 i have seen which you should sort:
1) "Download free mp3's"
i thought you lot had a policy to go against this because it rips off artists? You're always (rightly so) saying that this is wrong and you even delete/lock all topics promoting this... And then you accept sponsers from sites that contradict you? Whaa...?
2)"Free Sex Porn Downloads"
WHAT THE F*** IS THIS ABOUT? You're promoting porno stuff?

What does 'Ads by Google' mean?

I've never seen any ad's other than the ones on the banners.
If there pop ups, they might be from stupid fcukin Adware software, that comes with stuff like Kazaa. Took me forever to get rid off n does ur nut in u wanna go to www.download.com n get an adware killer if u get them on every site u visit, if not its probs what Virus sez it iz.

Google do not have categories that you can block, only URL's that you can block so that means we can't block advertising to these sites unless we know about it, new ones etc... Google have said that they are offering this service in the future but for now I don't have the option.
If you do see one of these dodgy ad's please right click on the link and press copy shortcut (no not click it as the URL will change), paste it in this thread I will then block the URL so that that banner will not come up anymore.
