rite to start with i dont really give a sh*t if u do think its sad i was really jus wondering if there was ne other like minded ppl out there. Rite now im listening to Beethovens 9th. In my mind this is an absolutely stunning piece of music, as in it makes me tingle to listen to it, they way it moves and is put together is imo pretty f*ckin awesome. so ne else out there find themselves delving into the classical every now n then?

hahaha, thats incredible man. Yea mate there is nothing wrong with classical music at all; no need for you to worry about that. i'm pretty sure that everyone here can at least appreciate where you are coming from.

i know i certainly do.

i think its brilliant to listen to classical every so often; it really does help relax the mind sometimes. brilliant to unwind to. as much as i do these things with hardcore, sometimes classical is just easier on the brain and very soothing.

Sure thang. I often listen to classical music. We have radiochannel here in Sweden that play alot of classical music, which is great. I always feel tiny bit of envy for not being able to handle an instrument the way most classical musicians do. Always wanted to play violin.

I guess soundtrack music is a borderline case of classical music. I just bought the soundtrack to The Ring movies and I'm loving it. Favourite soundtrack is by Cliff Martinez though, made for the movie Solaris.

Not sad at all mate.

As you all know I listen to ALL kinds of music, I really enjoy classical here's a few of my favourite composers:

Tchaikovsky, Bach, Strauss (father or son!), Vivaldi, Debussy, Mozart, Wagner, Beethoven, Dvorak, Schubert.

That'll do for now.

But the main thing is don't feel sad about enjoying any type of music. All kinds of music is out there to be experienced, so experience it with an open mind!

If someone can write a song and 300+ years later many peole still listen to is an achievement and a half. I enjoy a bit of classical myself not got a lot of knowledge but i no beethovens 9th = clockwork orange = = quality.

Kathryn your probably talkin about "barbers adagio for strings" which william orbit made a trance mix of and has been countless others now. A lotta the chilled trance reminds me of classical music in the string patterns really good to wind down after goin out.

Most the afterparties my mates have after ravin starts off wi us all blarin the hardcore then winds down to old gatecrasher cd's and by end of it all i'm in my room tryin to sleep wi classic fm on vol 1 only way i can.

Venga familia!!!

Classical music is great. Theres nothing like it! It is very relaxing and I like it when they mix it up with some drum & bass or techno.

Classical music is heard nerly everywhere: Movies, concerts, shows, and even video games.

Its rather essential.

Life is too short... lets go Hardcore!
