Due to a number of reasons, Tazz and I have decided to stop Digital Beatz immediately. DIGI009 is the last release [and is available now ]. There will be no DIGI010. Both of us would like to thank the following people for their support over the last couple of years:

Concept - label co-owner for the majority of releases and a good friend

Devastate - for pressing DIGI001 and being as sound a pound

Kevin Energy - for pressing all the releases from DIGI002 to DIGI009 and for supporting us in so many ways the list could span several pages

Sharkey - for including our tracks on Bonkers and being an inspiration

Everyone else who has worked at Nu Energy over the last couple of years, all of whom have worked extremely hard on our behalf - Derek, Bex, Rory, Sasha and Allan.

We would also like to thanks all our artists and remixers: The Sith, Impact, Concept, Sharkey, A.M.S., Stormtrooper, Nocturnal, Dodgee, UFO, Oli G, Gammer, Invader, Sonic, Kevin Energy and Scott Potential for producing awesome music and allowing us to release it!

There are countless DJs we'd like to thank for playing out tunes. You all know who you are. Much respect!

Finally, we would also like to thank everyone who has bought our releases - we hope you enjoyed the tuneage as much as we did getting it out to you!

So I guess you're now wondering what the hell the beginning is! Well, the good news is that all the remaining unreleased Digital Beatz tracks will be released on Electronic - either as themed Digital Beatz EPs or just thrown in there randomly! - and are:

Sonic 'Inside The Ride'
Sonic 'Therapy'
Tazz & Shanty 'Cracking Skulls'
Tazz & Shanty 'Maniac'
AC Slater 'Informavore'
AC Slater 'Out After Dark'
AC Slater 'Corrupt'
AC Slater 'Don't Think'
Menace 2 Society 'Cougars Bass (Blizzard Boys Remix)'
Shanty, Tazz & Loopy 'Maximum (Carbon Based Remix)'
Tazz & Loopy 'Life Support (Tha Outsidaz Remix)'

Think that's all of them. Might be a couple of other cool projects as well. The release schedule for these tracks will be posted in due course.

Much respect!

Shanty & Tazz

a real shame!

DIGI have bought some of the most, IMO, influential freeform tracks to the scene to date and have always been viewed highly by myself and many others - who could forget 'Beast of Hardcore'

Rich and Dan - i wish you both the best of luck in whatever you intend to do in the future!

Roll on Electronic.......
