I own all the Happy2bHardcore series now, and am happy with every1 even chapter5...
....and ages ago when they first released bonkers 2 I got it and changed my fave era of music from OldSkool to HappyCore, but yesterday I brought Bonkers 7 off one of my mates, mates. I got it for a pack of fags (which was quite a bargain), especially when I found out it was triple CD. It made me really happy UNTIL I played it...........Its not totally bonkers at all......Its not even happy......I dont know if im gonna get bonkers 8 now, if its anything like 7. I feel I got ripped off for a 20 packet of 555 Cigerates.....BOOOOO Bonkers 7......Say wot u like about the disc....I own it and its CRAP!!!!! Its not happy hardcore anymore.....Its more like a really dodgy Trance CD!!!! IT BLOWS!!!! The truth hurts mayb!!!! Disapointing!!!! Sorry guyz and galz!!!

HOW ******* true mate bonkers 2 rulz bonkers 7, is crap, i hope they make bonkers 8 like bonkers 2, i downloaded bonkers 2 and it came as a 74 min mix, I hate it on bonkers 7 were u go from one song to another!!!. full mix is so much better !!

Bonkers 2 did rule the fkn world!!! and bonkers 7 is pure shit!!! But Bonkers 7 is one massive mix aswell!? and although the songs are crap except Shootin star and run to me, it is mixed very well!! but still shit!!!

There is no need to panic at all, that CD was released in 1999, it was the last ever compilation ever to be released in the UK of new "hardcore" tracks. It mirrored the state of the scene of the time, the scene was in heavy peril. Record sales were at their lowest and because of this morale was also very low. Some thought that slowing it down and making the music sound more commercial would help, but in fact - this only made the die hard ravers even more dissolusioned with the scene.
Exactly one year later, Hixxy plays a new set of new Hardcore music that him and UFO pioneered. The mixing of those trancy elements with traditional real hardcore sounds. It worked, and today we have raver baby, and many other new labels. Sales have shot up, and so have the number of releases. The sound is finding itself again, and now for the first time since Bonkers 7.. we are expecting 3/4 new cd compilations to hit the streets soon full of brand new hard and uplifting hardcore.. Bonkers the Resserection should be pretty good... and out by April =)

Right a couple of things:
1) It is not going to be called Bonkers 8, they are going for a completely new image. They are amazed with how far Hardcore has come in recent months, so they are aptly naming the new series "Bonkers - The Ressurection".
2) It is a triple CD pack..
a) Hixxy CD - 50% Raverbaby & 50% Jellybaby
b) Sharkey CD - Just the usual sharkey business!!
c) Classic Bonkers CD.. featuring the best of previous bonkers editions, its a bonus CD I guess

It wont b a dissapointment woteva trax its got on it:) As long as its coming out is enuff for me good mix's on it r a bonus:) It shows that producers n record labels still have alot of faith in hardcore:D But i think evry1's being a bit harsh on Hixxy, i think that it will not b as clear cut as all of rave rbaby jelly baby altho that will b da majority!!

i'm looking forward to it anyways. i've always loved sharkey's stuff. but if hixxy's mix is all raver/jelly then do they all have that annoying kickdrum?? b7 was like that,i loved it but the kickdrum gets kinda annoying,1 or 2 tracks then fair enough but not in all of them!!
