Does anyone have a good recommendation of where I could find some good breakbeats, i.e. from older R&B, Rap, etc. records and/or tunes? Or maybe just where to look in general? I've been looking around all day and can't seem to find anything.

You could find a sample of the original Amen Break (i just googled it) and chop that up however you want. Im trying to put a track together at the moment doing just that. Much more fun messing about with the break yourself imo.

Didn't want to use the amen because it's been used so much already. And yeah, I was going to chop up any breakbeats I find anyway.

Isnt that all that was in old Rap tunes though? Just an Amen, obviously chopped up and altered?
Fair enough though mate, yeah its been used a hell of a lot but i still love it.
