alright everyone. i have some apologizing to do!
i was in the wrong and jumped the gun here.
i don't want to defend what i did, because i know now that i was in the wrong, but i believe a little explanation is in order:
there were some mistakes and assumptions made. i received an email from the company thought to have sent rory's package some three months ago, saying they did not.
because of lack of a tracking number for such a large purchase, i thought i had reason to believe that rory was giving me the run around, and thought he was lying to me. i jumped the gun and wanted to show everyone here what kind of person he is, but it backfired on me. huge.
i would like everyone to know that i have recently been put in touch with the company who is relocating rory's belongings to the USA.
rory is not a theif, and made has made every effort to amend the situation.
i called him a liar and a thief, and i am writing this for every promoter, raver - anyone wishing to book him to let them know that he is definitely neither!!!
i was wrong in what i did, and i apologize to everyone, ESPECIALLY dj impact for what i have done. i am will most likely going to lose a lot of respect for this. rory was at risk of losing even more though. i'm happy that it got cleared up as quickly as it did, a moderator here kindly deleted it all.
i hope that what i write here will put to rest any doubt in anyone's mind that rory is anything but an upstanding member of this scene. i hope that the damage done by what i have said in my previous thread is reversible. i hope that by making this public apology, some or most of the damage can be repaired.
rory was right, i was wrong, and this is my public apology, as promised. this is what he does for his career, and i am sorry for calling you out like that rory, and making the rude accusations that i did.

well done for apologising.
I'm sure rory will forgive, and lets hope there's not too much damage done!
Perhaps he can even produce a little bit more for us? ;)
But yeah, perhaps next time you should should step back and take things into perspective. After all, you were basing it on 'new details and holes in stories'.

i guess i deserve it though... but really naturatech!! how did you get your hands on a copy of my yearbook, that's what i'm still trying to figure out!
and not quite sendail, but satisfied enough with the situation now to know i'm not being robbed or lied to.

Alex (Vitalism) I accept your apology and have always said that i understand your concerns.
As you know, You just went about things the wrong way and my good name & reputation has been damaged because of it. We all know that the people that read this apology to me wont be nowhere near the number of people that read the topic about me supposidly being a liar, a thief & a fraud and, unfortunatly for me...this can never be rectified.
As you all know, I left the hardcore scene last year, but i left with my head held high. There were a few reasons behind me leaving, but one of which was mainly due to the fact that i was never really appriciated for my 10 years of hard work in the scene, along with the small mindidness of certain people.
I always tried to help people out and all i seemed to get was stabbed in the back and criticised for my efforts...It's a bit like having a girlfriend that you love so much, but simply just doesn't love you back...After a while you get to thinking "Why the f*ck do i bother" right?
I've always produced hardcore purely for the love and, I'll admit...I was considering writing hardcore again, but after this...it's proven to me once again, that i'm better off not dedicating my time to a scene that really doesn't give a f*ck!
Even after my retirement, i was still taking a few bookings here and there because i still enjoyed playing the music that i loved ever since i was 14 years old, however this will not be the case anymore and i'm making my last ever gig to be in NYC for Candyball on August 21st. After this party is all said and done, you will never hear the name 'Impact' again.
I want to leave on something positive, so i will say that Alex (Vitalism) i do forgive you and i do genuinly believe you are a decent guy. I have no hard feelings towards you and i really hope that you enjoy my collection as i have have done over the years.
I'd also like to thank all of you that did wait for my initial reply when this all first kicked off and didn't judge me, insult me and make me out to be a liar.
To the small & closed minded people out there that were quick to judge and insult...You are one of the reasons that most of the hardcore producers decide to leave the scene, so i hope you're happy!
I'd like to thank everyone also for the countless emails i've had in the past few months, your kind words are appriciated and i really hope that all the upcomming producers out there that i've helped, dont read this and lose faith like i have. This scene is full of great people and just keep pushing away until you get to where you want to be, determination is key!
I'd like to thank everyone that ever supported me, Booked me, played and bought my records and albums and lastly but most importantly....
THANKYOU FOR THE MEMORIES!

Just want to say, Rory/Impact - you were one of my favourite producers and your July 2007 mix is one of the best mixes I have ever heard. :)
