With this years election getting ever closer, I'm not very sure of who I'm going to vote for. I think if a party were made up of small bits of all the ones that exist now, I wouldn't have a problem.

I really am stuck on who to vote for this year. Labour have made a complete botch of things so I'm not voting for them again :/ Conservative haven't really got any good new ideas for my liking and I feel that they'll make a complete mess of things that are already a mess imo :o

Just wondered if anyone else had any views on who to vote for and why? It might help me decide lol

What would Tory's do differently from labour to solve the economic mess, or any of the other problems??

I'll vote labour, simply cos we aint a 3rd world country because of them. This country is still afloat, and its not exactly sinking... There are worse governed MEDC's.

Tory and thats my final choice on the matter. Labour have failed and it don't take a shoe and string to work it out.

If I could vote (I'm neither in the right age group or country), I'd be stuck between Labour and Lib Dem.

I have grown up in a socialist household on the shite side of Brussels and before that in an old factory town, my paternal grandad was a bus driver in Redditch, Worcestershire and my maternal grandad was a factory worker in Birmingham.

This is a long way of saying that socialism is in my blood.

But in recent years Labour have dissapointed me quite a bit, I'll admit, but I can't bring myself to give the tories a chance, no matter how much they say they've changed. My grandparents and parents suffered a lot under Thatcher's and Major's reigns, and I really don't want to see that shit happen again.

So I'm also drawn to the 'in-betweeners', the Lib Dems. If I'm gonna give anyone 'a chance', it's them.

Of course, you could always vote Green! (yeah, right!)

Ill be voting Conservative.

I am against the same party being in power for so long and another Lbour victory would take them close to 20 years by the time of the next election and I dont think one party should have control for so long, especially with the problems the country had had.

Also....Gordon Brown was never voted in by the public as a prime minister like Tony Blair was, Brown was appointed by the party which I am personally against aswell as imo if the Prime Minister steps down then a general Election should be held.

I'm voting for Pizza on Tuesdays instead of Wednesday.

What this? Politics in the UK? Pfft.

They like to call it that, am not too sure if it is though! Its just full of fat cat polititians that think they can get away with "expenses" and then think they have immunity from the law when they get caught :O I'm ashamed of this country. It really has gone to the dogs.

I still can't think of who to vote for. Where did "The monster raving loony party" go? I think they would have been my choice tbh. Or would you say that's the BNP? I think their policies are an utter load of faeces!

If i don't vote, or anyone for that matter, my vote goes to the party that's already in power and tbf, we're quickly going down the pan so i really don't think that's a wise thing to happen.

Sounds like everything that's wrong with the Presidential system the US has. Winner takes all, all that sort of thing. I'm a really big fan of the Parliamentary system in the UK, just sounds a better way to control the government.
