They are just there to look pretty :b
Tbh they really dont mean much anymore, after like 500 post you get all them and they dont change.....
Silver needs to update that lol

silver stars = moderator
im not sure the numbers of posts you make to get more stars etc etc
medals under avatars indicate either

Verified Artist : ie- have had either a vinyl or major cd release
-------------------------------------------------------
someone who has donated money to the site (any amount)

then finally
someone who has a subscription to the site (either $5 a month or more)
