Anyone got one of these? I'm planning on picking one up when OoT: 3D comes out or maybe sooner if someone can convince me one of the games that are currently out are worth picking up.
What's your opinion of it? Is the 3D just a gimmick or does it add to gameplay?
Also E3 is just around the corner, what's your predictions?
Nintendo have already announced that they will show their new home console (due for release in 2012) and it's supposedly more powerful than any of the current gen consoles.

I managed 10 minutes before my head went funny and i had to stop playing! Luckily you can turn the 3D off, but then you're more or less left with an expensive DS. Not for me i'm afraid.

I exchanged my DSi XL for a 3D. I was intending to get one when OoT comes out, but exchanging the XL and getting 50% of the 3DS seems fair to me.
and no. I cant find any games that I want, except for maybe Zelda and Cave Story 3d

The 3D works great, imo. Some people complain of headaches etc but that doesn't apply to everyone. I've had no problems so far. I didn't buy any games with it because I'm waiting for Animal Crossing and Paper Mario 3D, as well at OoT.

i played it at best buy and it really hurt my eyes lol. it must take some getting used to. that or maybe my glasses made the effect worse
and new nintendo in 2012? was thinking of rebuying a wii, but maybe i'll just get this upcoming system instead :)
and for E3, a better trailer for the new zelda game coming out. now that there is a new system, I wonder if they're going to hold out for skyward sword to be released along with this system.

bought riiiiiiiidge racer and ssf4 for it. have to shut the 3d off for ssf4 as I move the system around too much when I try to input moves. nice system needs more games though.
as far as e3, mainly looking forward to more twisted metal and hopefully more on street fighter x tekken *drool*
project cafe is supposed to have a touch screen monitor on the controller. hope they do a much better job with online support with this machine.

3ds still has not a proper online support. I can't believe it's taking them months to get a working online store active, when they could have started with it BEFORE actual release. People should stop nagging Sony about PSN when Nintendo are proper bitches

The games for the iPod suck and the PSP has no games, well none that stick out anyway. I've literally only ever turned my PSP on around 5 times in 2 years.

I doubt it. I think the reason they released Twilight Princess for the Wii was because there wasn't really any jump in graphics from the Gamecube. It wouldn't do the new system any justice, it would be like releasing GTA 3 on the PS3. The new system is backwards compatible though.

I think the reason people are 'nagging' is because all their personal information has been stolen. Such as: name, address, credit card info and their PSN username and password. It's no big deal for me as I rarely play online nor have I ever put my credit details onto the system, but I do understand why people are pissed off at them though. I think the reason in delay of the 3DS shop is because Nintendo and other companies are remaking the games with a 3D effect. I'm not sure how complicated that is but I'm sure that takes some time.

My sister already got a 3DS, it's pretty legit. Not much games atm, but that'll change.
As for E3, I'm looking forward to announcements about the already released fighters (MK9 and MvC3). Along with the normal surprise E3 holds in store for us.
I swear if Marvelous Marvel vs Capcom 3 is announced I'm going to hit something. Really hard. With my fist.

Yeah and it's not like Sony or Microsoft don't make 'kiddy' games, which I might add is far more childish than the Nintendo ones. At least Nintendo give their games depth and have a high replay value, and above all are fun to play. Nintendo games are never aimed specifically at children (if you think you can name one, go ahead), Pokemon is a perfect example of this, a kid would never understand the game fully, I'm 20 and I don't even understand the more complicated things.
It also seems Nintendo are trying to shake off the 'childish' tag with GTA: V rumoured to be exclusive to their new console.
