That second tune sounds a lot like the stuff Tieum plays (or played), industrial type stuff, which is ****ing great.

Not really. Sorta old hardstyle both of them, though not old hardstyle in the way you mean it. They were both about 05 or so when the new stuff was just picking up. Kicks were still hard but melodies were a bit more than a hoover and scratches. Having said that, donkey rollers are pretty much my favourite producer in their consistency. Not always hardest but usually fairly filthy.

Not hardstyle (sorry don't know too much hardstyle) but it's gabber and pretty hard in my opinion (starts around 45 seconds).
