im sorry peoples but how f#*kn good is., everytime i listen to one of his tunes it just blows my mind away.. i just wish he was coming back to australia sometime soon because at godspeed he rocked...

He's quite good been in the scene for a while now he has. I prefered his older stuff but hey anyone making HHC deserves a great deal of respect :)

yeah, i prefer his old stuff too but even his new stuff is still excellent. every tune i have heard from him gets u into it , which is what i love about his tunes.. no matter where i am if i hear one of his tracks ill start dancing :) i just cant help myself

What is a DJ if you cant scratch?
Not that im saying Hixxy cant, but i think Sy is a step above, especially some of the Scratching in Bonkers 6 was absolutely unbeleivable. I seen him at a pretty shitty event in Carlisle (in comparison to others he does) and that was fantastic. I was even going to go to Ibiza Mania (an U-18 event!!!!) as he was booked for the night!! But he didnt turn up in the end, so was left with a bunch of 14 yr olds and a local bloke playing a average set.

Hixxy can scratch well :) I havn't heard him do it though since he stopped playing classic HHC.

I really wish the old Antisocial project would've had more releases, I liked em all. There's a new one on Bonkers 9 but who knows what style that'll be. Of his latest tracks the sample-work has been amazing, something I really dig, but he needs thicker bass and more imaginative percussion before he'll top my list again.

Hixxy is the best! His new tunes are great and have been very well developed! Some of them are trancier than others but I still like them! My favourite of his at the minute has to be 'Feel It In The Air'. Superb!

I agree with Lixx...most of his tunes just aren't bangin' enough for me...but his producing is always tight and his Bonkers 2 mix is still at the top of my list.

Fair enuf! I still rekon that Hixxy has to be hailed as the best Dj in the scene as he brought us Raver Baby. Without Raver Baby we wouldnt have Black Magic, You're Shining, Just Accept It, Deep Inside, Alternative (i could go on for a while but you get my point!). Hixxy's tunes now are just as bangin as they were back in the time of Bonkers 2. It's just the times have moved on and so has the hardcore style that he makes. Regardless, you've gotta love his music!!!!

yeah i'm with lixx and nateking too. not a fan of hixxys newer stuff, i find it hard to put in a set, the tune quality is good, but i just personally don't like the bass & kick sound and the trancey feel. i still give him respect for working hard to keep that side of hardcore moving along.

i might counter your statement (without offence to hixxy) by saying BRISK & HAM must be hailed as the best djs coz they brought us next gen & blatant beats. Without NG & BB we wouldn't have hard harmony, shooting star, break of dawn, love of my life, delirious, don't you know, about you, (i could go on for a while but you get my point!).

he done some scratchin' at the planet love 02 event over here....at least i think i remember him scratching, anyway.....what a LEGEND festival!!!!
