So let's here what everyone has say about all this new Next Gen stuff. Frankly, i find it as disapointing as the raver baby stuff. Sure, music changes but i wish it would change for the better. Brisk and Fade just aren't cutting it for me anymore. and what the hell was that Lika a prayer rmx, what was it called again ... Cheesy Dj's? well, i was sadly disapointed. any way, this is all
IMO so lets here what you have to say. and please keep respect to all for there are always conflicts of interest and opinion.....

Cheers !

The new raver baby stuff on Bonkers 8 and 9 is Very impressive.
Next Gen have stuck its ***** neck out and most of there new tracks are absolutely ***** amazing!! WELL DONE on the new stuff.
Cheesy DJs is seriously wank so i'll agree with you there.
The Scott Brown version to eyeopener is a pile of shit aswell. But Overall well done! I love it!

i really love the raver baby stuff alot! but i agree that some of the next gen stuff isnt so gr8, but then some of it is like "Fly with me(?)" and i am really realy looking forward to "Here comes the noise". And now it is commercialish i think it might aswell stay old ish (stopid thought i no but), dont get me worng i like new stuff but most of the recent albums that have come out have had older classics on it, ones like original hardcore, that hardcore one and this other hardcore one too with 6 cds. and children of the nigth was just repressed, i no its rare but it is another old classic.
I no the cds might just be like gettin ppl in to the scene n stuff but there are quite afew out recently!...ill shut up now!

OK I think it's time again for me to bleat out a couple of quick IMO's:

(1) I like the direction nextgen is taking. Still happy (not as much though) but a lot harder. Don't get me wrong, I like my cheese, but it's always nice to have variety.

(2) Cheesy DJ's - class song. If we can't laugh at ourselves, then who *can* we laugh at? Besides, there are some waaaaaay sillier songs than this.

(3) Scott Brown's Earcloser remix - the first gabber track I genuinely enjoy listening to. Genius.

cheesy djs has the potential to be good, but IMO the sample is the only good thing going for that song. :(

I am little dissapointed with the new next generation stuff, i seem to be hanging out for represses of some of the rare older classics. On the Hectic website they have announced that they are going to release the original "wanting to get high" and the orignal "99 red balloons" but havent got a date for release yet. So at this stage i cant wait for them to get released!!!!!

I'm liking it so far, the eyeopner remix I hated it first, but then I loved it, god damn I want to hear the rest! (i've only heard the preview on thier site)

They are certainly making the effort with thier music, which is all you can ask isn't it?

Some of the new next gen and blatent beats stuff is hgard as ****, and super amazing, but some of it needs to be unpressed and locked away in a vault.
Like Delirious is an amazing track, but the flip is horible, like the worste song ever. But the fade rmx of show me the sunshine......SO GOOD, SO SO ****IN GOOD

these are just a few examples, i'd say that there new stuff is as good, as it is bad.

My god how long have those mice been living your back fat?!?!?!

I disagree. I think it's a great track - sure, the melody ain't quite perfect (I think they should've lifted that straight off the original) but all in all it's a nice, hard track.

i agree with the good fellow strychnine, i really like the flip. and personally i think the fade remix of sunshine sucks dogs balls. have you heard the original (the one on h2bh chap5)? it owns. no offence to fade i think he's a great producer but hey, that new chord pattern is really terrible. (IMO)

i can't really comment on the newest stuff coz i haven't listened to all that's on the website, so i've only got what's released.

drugs is not the answer... drugs? is the question... yes is the answer

I think most of the new stuff is amazing IMO, but some of the stuff isnt as good as it could have been tho, but im sure its been said many times before, that music styles change and you cant expect to love everything that you hear.

the sample thats in "movin on" does not fit in well with a hardcore track imo.. the "be who i wanna be, kiss who i wanna kiss".. sounds like something in a gay house track.. but other then that i kinda like the track..

and yea, the original of "show me the sunshine" is MUCH MUCH better then the fade remix

"GREAT, JUST GREAT now hardcore will die! THANKS A BUNCH!!!"

i hate all the filters and echo on the sunshine vocal.. this over-production ruins the vocal for me
