i dunno if he did more than just turntablism way back then, what pseudonym did he go under in them days, id like to hear a tape of what he did back then that would be a kick-ass piece of sy memoribilia. hope he produced sumthing it would be quite an interesting listen

most hardcore dj's started spinning hip hop in the late 80's.. but they didnt have big names for themselves or make albums back then..

No, can't say i've ever seen any hip-hop albums by Sy & I'd be very surprised if there was anything out there. You never know what might be lurking out there though.
The only thing of Sy's that i've got that's a bit different is the CD he did for Sound Dimension in 1995 called 'The Scratchmasters obsession' - A triple Cd with Fourbeat, D&B and House - and featuring some of the crappest wording ever!!! 'For serious groovers' EH?
Some top tunes on there though

I got that cd aswell DMS.....Yeah, check out the picture of Sy, with the words..."Sci-Fi Sy" on it LOL.....very good collection of tunes imo, the four-beat cd is great and so is the D&B one....but the house one actually sounds really good, the only house cd I really like.......really good scratching on all cd's aswell imo.
It is quite rare that CD....even as it was released twice  .
