Stuck On Earth Presents THE FINAL BOO
Sunday October 12, 2003 6pm-6am
Over 60 Performers 12hrs 6rooms

Throughout the years we have produced several different events of a
massive caliber, most of which have been very well received by our loyal
following. Nevertheless, by far our most popular event has always been our
annual Columbus day/Halloween season festival, Boo. Despite the tremendous
amounts of love we have received in response to Boo, we have decided to make
this our last installment in this series, and are calculating whether or not
to make this our last massive altogether. We want you all to know that we
have the utmost respect for and love each and every one of you for making
these events happen every year. Boo has snowballed into something
unimaginable and has been a joy for us to produce time and time again. So
here's to starting on a fresh page, or possibly closing the book once and
for all.

Main Room

(Record Release Party For "Mixed Live: Ruby Skye)
DJ Dan-Moonshine,Funky Tekno Tribe-San Francisco
DJ DAN is one of America's most highly sought after DJ/producers who continually breaks new musical ground. Beginning as Los Angeles' top techno DJ in the early 90's, he went on to inspire the breakbeat trend a few short years later with the classic anthem "Loose Caboose." Later DJ DAN reinvented the sound with "Needle Damage"--a fusion of all that is hard and funky. He has toured the world over, releasing numerous highly celebrated singles and popular CD's. Now DJ DAN revamps his sound with a concentrated techno and house blueprint for his new DJ mix compilation CD. DJ DAN remains a towering figure in the world of dance music, always a step ahead in bringing new musical styles to his fans. He is a DJ for the people burning up dance floors around world.

Donald Glaude-Moonshine-Seattle
The last few years have been very busy for veteran DJ Donald Glaude. Donald's in-demand, crowd-rocking style has given him the opportunity to travel abroad to such places as Russia, Colombia, Hong Kong, Peru, Mexico City, Venezuela, Acapulco, The U.K.., and The Pimp N Ho Ball, just to name a few! He is one of those rare DJs who perceives their role to be that of an all-around entertainer and performer. Each night, his arsenal of track after funky track, seems to be endless. His DJing career began inauspiciously in his hometown of Tacoma, Washington, south of Seattle, with a pair of mismatched turntables and a Radio Shack mixer. Donald's growing collection of new and old records gave him the desire to teach himself to blend his favorite tracks together. After mastering the basic skills, Donald began DJing in various clubs around Tacoma and Seattle including The Pacific Breeze, Vertigo and The Underground. During this time he ended up making several important connections, including that of an aspiring DJ by the name of Dan. Later, DJ Dan would convince San Francisco's Funky Tekno Tribe to bring his old friend, Donald down to play at one of their parties. Donald soon became a permanent resident of F.T.T. Donald's energy and ability to work the crowd has earned him a huge following and has positioned him as one of the hottest DJs on the circuit.

("Best DJ" award at the Dancestar USA 2002 Awards)
Christopher Lawrence-System Recordings/Giant-LA
A Grammy nominee, the recipient of the "Best DJ" award at the Dancestar USA 2002 Awards and one of the top ranking American artists in DJ Magazine's prestigious "TOP 100" DJs of 2002,One of the most in-demand DJs in the world, Christopher has been described as "America's Top Trance DJ" by MUZIK and "One of the most popular DJs on the global circuit" by DJ Magazine. In 1996, Christopher became the first US artist to be signed to Scotland's cutting edge Hook Recordings. With a discography of groundbreaking tracks played by DJs from Paul van Dyk to John Digweed, Christopher's "Navigator," 'Interceptor", 'Renegade", 'Rush Hour", "Shredder" and "Cruise Control" have taken the US and European charts by storm. Inducted into the UK superclub Cream's "Superstar DJ" Hall of Fame in 2001, Christopher is the only US DJ invited to headline each of the Ministry of Sound, Cream, and Gatecrasher inaugural tours of America. "It is a great honor to be recognized by my peers in the electronic music industry. I feel really privileged and grateful. I take my DJing very seriously in that I approach every event I play as if it is the most important. It is purely a personal thing, but it is great to be appreciated."

(Special Closing Set)
Scott Henry-Ultra Rec/Buzz-D.C
By no means your average DJ, Scott Henry goes well beyond the time-honored tradition of rocking dancefloors. Granted, the man's long been an East Coast legend, having started the coast's most esteemed club nights-Fever in Baltimore and Buzz in Washington D.C, respectively, but Scott's role in American club culture outside of DJ'ing has now proven to be as important, if not more so, than his prowess behind the one and two's. No wonder then, that Scott's made the big leap from nationally known talent to a force to be reckoned with worldwide, having been recently booked at Privelege in Ibiza-one of the largest clubs in the world, mind you-as well as some of the most esteemed clubs in England.
talent.

Danny The WildChild-Surge Recordings-Chicago
Danny's roots were as a Hip-Hop DJ, he was eventually introduced into the Chicago scene and to the world of drum-n-bass. He enjoyed this new form of music, but also loved hip-hop and began to creatively blend the two genres creating a unique sound of his own. As Danny's turntable talents grew, he began to incorporate scratching and DMC style battle tricks into his Drum-n-Bass sets. His precise mixing skills and unique style and sound gave him the opportunity to bring Drum-n-Bass into the DMC and Hip-Hop scenes. Danny's recognition has earned him a collection of praises from domestic and international magazines such as Mixer, Thousand Words, Faqt, and Lotus to name just a few. Danny was also featured as one of the people making waves in the scene in Urb's Next 100 Artists to Watch Issue.. His talents have brought him to perform in venues worldwide and opening up for such acts as Eminem, Method Man, The Jungle Brothers, De La Soul, Moby, Goldie, MixMaster Mike and The Pharcyde. Capital J- MCA/Universal records,Wikkid,N2o Records-Toronto
CAPITAL J has become one of the fastest rising jungle DJ's in the history of the legendary Canadian D&B scene. His relationship with the decks began at a very young age. At thirteen, trained strictly as a battle DJ he started dominating London, Ontario's foremost scratch competitions, where he remained undefeated for five years straight. J's other forays into music making included being the main element in the hardcore hip hop/rock group, Genocide, which released one album with MCA/Universal records and toured across Canada. He was one half of The Incredible Melting Man; a live action breaks group with release's on Dust2Dust Records in the UK & 2Wars Records. Their first single, Funky Plaid Coat busted in at #13 in the DJ Magazine top 70 chart in the U.K. . When he decided to move to Toronto, he instantly took the D&B scene by storm...Scratching records with his elbows, feet and chin while introducing the world to his (now infamous) style of jump-up head crushing D&B with an arsenal of home grown Dub-plates & remixes. Within two months he was crowned DJ of the month by TRIBE magazine, and followed this up by releasing one of the city's top selling mix tape's. His first 12" release, Bitches on London's Phobic Records, sold-out it's massive run in less than one week. Its not surprising that his follow up Paranoid Chronic was so well received by the UK's Knowledge Magazine. J's now currently releasing his hidden gems on Wikkid Records (Montreal) with such floor mashers as The Throw Down, Niagara Falls featuring MC Fats, Bumbaclott & Mr. Mister, featuring hip-hop all-star Ron B, AKA his little brother. Look out for the next 4 release's Wikkid just signed cause they're slamming. Backing up J's successes in the U.S. is the undisputed kings of coloured vinyl, N20 Records located in Los Angles California. J's first release Featuring T.O.'s MC Trigger on the floor killer Noize Check was an instant smash, Which was followed up by the Hip-hop Junglist Anthem Uppin tha Ante. Unrealistic Terroristic Acts & Ceramic was next to sell out record stores.

DB-Breakbeak Science-NYC
Arriving in New York from London in '89, it could be said that no one has done more for Drum & Bass in America than DB. First with his hardcore Breakbeat club NASA, then by launching Sm:)e communications and releasing the first Jungle singles & compilations in the U.S, then signing dj Dara, and the launch of his artist career, It was a sign of the great things to come. He & Dara then opened Breakbeat Science, dedicated to Drum & Bass. It has since become a respected record store & label. Having recently released 10, his tenth mix cd in ten years, he is now working on an artist album with dj Stakka, focusing on the more musical side of the genre, which as a dj, is what DB has become best loved for.

Empress-Topaz Rec, Ground Score-NYC
Through perseverance and dedication Empress has garnered respect from her peers and from top-notch producers in the UK for her talent. She is noted for her style and control on the turntables, and her refined selections of progressive tunes. NYC nightlife proved to be irresistible for empress and as she puts it, "the first time I ever stepped in a club I knew the nightlife was going to be part of my life forever." In '96, Empress was so moved by her first experience listening to what was known as techstep at Flux in NYC she knew it was where she needed to be. The darker style lured her deep into the world of Drum & Bass and only one year and only one year later she began tearing up dance floors.

Paul Johnson-Dust Traxx-Chicago
Born on Chicago's south side January 11th, 1971, Paul's career started back in '83 when he was dancing with his breaking crew, E.I.O.U. Freeze, and knew nothing about DJing. Developing his DJ skills in the next two years, he came back in '85, when he started to have parties where he would battle other DJs by playing their records and getting the beats ON. Paul's cousin, DJ Pharris Thomas, Lil' Louis, Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, Steve 'Silk' Hurley and Farley Keith (Jackmaster Funk) were his biggest influences. He sees his music as not going in any specific direction "like an octagon - I'm wild" he states. He sees house music as starting to get noticed, as it should, the Grammy's being a prime example. His talents include dabbling in the bass guitar and can even sing a few notes. He has worked with producer Stacey Kidd on many projects on labels such as Dance Mania and his own A&R label project, Dust Traxx. He'd like to thank everyone who ever made a house record, he loves you all and he only does this because of the love

Charles Feelgood-System Recordings, Buzz- Los Angeles
Charles Feelgood put the Baltimore and Washington DC scene on the map. Back in 1990, with his then partner Scott Henry. Feelgood's ability to drop kick-ass House music conveniently allows him to crossover between events and clubs with ease and it is this talent that has enabled him to consistently rake in the praise and admiration from fans and fellow DJs alike. In addition to his busy touring schedule, Feelgood has expanded into production and remixing including six new tracks for his own label, Charm City Records. Another one of his singles, "I Want You To Fly", was recently released through F-111. His first release on Moonshine, "Can You Feel It?", showcases his unique style of blending funky, bumpin', party-time House that aptly resembles one of his famous club sets. To this day, Feelgood remains one of the most beloved DJs in the country. With Feelgood's vibrant personality and banging peak hour House sets only one question remains - Can You Feel It?

Onionz &Joeski-6400 Crew, Elecrik Soul-NYC
Joeski & Onionz both crafted their DJ skills on the network of New York's underground clubs such as Limelight, Tunnel, Wunder Bar and The Roxy. Onionz, a talented drummer & percussionist, could lay claim to being one of the youngest DJs out of NY, starting off at the tender age of 16, whilst Joeski started out spinning freestyle hip hop & disco in Queens, N.Y. The duo crossed paths in the mid 80's and by the dawn of house music, could be heard spinning alongside other NY future stars such as Keoki and Angel Morales.
As producers, the guys have released an extensive back catalogue of music, both solo and as part of the 6400 Crew; a collective of like minded producers & DJs such as Hipp-e & Halo from H-Foundation, Master D & Tony Hewitt from Tango Recordings. As a DJ partnership, Joeski goes for the tough edges and dubbed out tribalism of the house spectrum whilst Onionz favours the more vocal and latino vibes that reflect the eclecticism of New York's current house scene. Outside of their busy DJ schedules, Joeski finds time to run the Maya label and produce with fellow artists like DJ Chus (for the classic 'El Amor') and Dano (as Twisted Pair) whilst Onionz runs Electrik Soul and also works with artists such as Mark Bell (Shaboom) and Dubtribe. Both producers also record for Siesta and Tango. A great example of communities in the house scene, Joeski & Onionz represent the new mood and era of a music that has defied the critics and still stands strong today on the world's airwaves and dancefloors.

Heather Heart-Sonic Groove-NYC

Gant Garrard-Dust Traxx Re., Tree House Recordings-Chicago
Gant Garrard (aka Gant-Man to the Ghetto House world and Brother 2 Brother alongside Paul Johnson) was introduced to mixing by his older brother and learned how to count beats and blend records at the young age of 5 with Disco and (what is now called) Chicago House Music. At 10 he was ready to share his talent with the world and began mixing on a college radio station in Chicago [WKKC 89.3 FM] where he mixed from 1989 through 1997. A now legendary meeting between Gant and Mr. Paul Johnson took place at a high school party on Chicago's South Side in 1992. They have been like brothers ever since. At 15, Gant produced his first EP for Dance Mania called "It's About Time" which spawned the Chicago Underground smash "3 Blind Mice" which was built around the theme music from "The Three Stooges" television show. He became known in Chicago as the "youngest professional DJ" and is attributed to being one of the key innovators of Ghetto House. At 18 he began to travel, playing both the Rave and club circuits in the U.S. as well as in Europe. Playing in Paris at Le Queen and Gibus as well as in Switzerland at Lake Parade prepared him for his Summer 2000 residency in Ibiza, Spain at El Divino Club Paradise alongside Paul Johnson and DJ Skip. "You Gotta Get Up" was a huge success on Dust Traxx Chicago that was even reissued with Paul Johnson remixes and continues to be repressed due to relentless demand. Now with 11 years of being a DJ and 6 years of producing tracks on labels like Riviera, Dust Traxx Chicago, and Dance Mania, his career has become more prolific with each passing year.

The CD, produced by Evil Dee and his brother Mr. Walt (aka Da Beat Minerz) earned the respect of hip-hop fans and critics alike. The Source magazine called it "a welcome return to the days when rap consistently reflected true musical and lyrical integrity." Three hit singles, "Who Got da Props, "How Many Mc's (must get dissed)" and "I Got Cha Opin" helped propel album sales past the triple-platinum mark. After six years of legal and internal strife, the trio returned with War Zone, released on Duck Down Records in the spring of 1999.

His scratching skills have also been immortalized on wax for The Artifacts (Come on wit The Get Down), Sadat X (Lump Lump), Mad Skillz (It's Going Down), O.C..(Times Up, Set into the Ozone and Far From Yours), and Big Pun (Tres Leches). Time - 12:00pm-2:00am
Location - The Pittsburgh Expomart 105 Mall Boulevard, Monroeville, PA 15146.

Information - This will be an indoor/outdoor event. We gave much thought about how we could improve our event from last year and we decided to eliminate the racing aspect and the sometimes brutal outdoors. So we moved the legacy that started it all indoors, into a beautiful, large facility located in the heart of the steel city. We wanted to assure everyonefs safety this year and keep our show as a one of kind superstar import car event. Even though we won't be racing vehicles this year, there will be tons of fun, and many different creative things going on such as live dyno machine testing for bikes and cars! A sound competition, Automobile show, Live female dancers, Non- stop music, 3 stages of sound, A huge light and laser show, Visuals by Jbrick visuals, Free giveaways, Clowns, Magicians, Turntablists, Mc battles, Various genres of music, Massage therapist, Professional models, Fashion show, Graffiti artists, A graffiti wall, Model search, Play Station 2 tournament, Xbox tournament, and more surprises!

Halcyon Added by cloudskipper (1 Attending)

On Saturday October 18, 2003, Kinetic Funk is proud to present the 1st All Happy Hardcore party in almost a year:

HALCYON.

Greensboro, North Carolina

Your DJ's for this very special evening:

Main Room:

Cloudskipper (SonicFury.net, Liquid Vinyl DJs, Raw Elements Recordings; San Francisco, CA)

Cloudskipper has been rocking the hardcore since 1997. He's gone all over the U.S., Canada, and recently lived out one of his dreams by playing in England. His first record as a producer, "Check This Out", found its way into the record boxes of a lot of the top American hardcore DJs, and his recent productions on labels like Raw Elements Recordings and Bedlam Records promise to do the same.

He plans to come to rock North Carolina in his first performance there. Expect nothing but the newest and best hardcore, with some anthems thrown in to spice it up a bit!

Jare Fox (Joekerland, Rave N Beats, Raversonly, Spins.Us, Rochester NY)

More than 3000 years ago children played with circular hoops made with grape vines. This toy was swung around the waist. Years later this toy was made by company called Wham-O and the Hula-Hoop was invented in 1958. Jare Fox para El Presidente!!
