from what I've heard, because it's got a new name "Makina" to be honest it doesn't sound any different from other hardcore even though it's made in Spain, doesn't have its own sound if you know what I mean.

IMO Makina is more "euro" sounding, compared to other hardcore genres.

Dunno why but all my messages seem 2 get cut off. Anyway as i was saying a lot of the newer stuff sounds a bit like scott brown but u can tell the difference. Dj both Spanish and Uk hardcore but in general i'd say there's more quality spanish releases come out. Main difference is when makina dj's do BCN mixin which is hard to explain but it's basically constant mixin between bouncy and hard tracks best done on 3 or 4 decks. You'll either love it or hate it cos u need to like hard stuff. Personally my fav style but because most people in britain prefer jus the melodies and BCN mixin is very hard to pull off (tried and failed) most brittish makina dj's jus mix the melodies. If u go on sbthq.net go to the mixes check out javi tracker or haston (scottish bcn master) see what u think.

Hehehhee all those songs r ripped from www.djpunch.com

there u can download the mp3's of makina tracks and not to mention scott brown makina mixes as well. hehehehe I know I was in shock as well.

Makina is ok to listen to when the english happy hardcore gets boring, they got a good remix of spring which is originally by rmb.

Also check out www.totalmakina.fr.fm for video clips of there raves. They have this one rave which was a scorpio party i think, any how they have 2 beds on d side of the dj and on d beds they have lesbians. at the same time this rave is a foam party. so they have foam pouring from a massive ufo ontop of the ceiling. Now thats production.

I heard that it came out from a spanish label, but should still be the Scott Brown tune...

Most spanish dj's mix in uk hardcore with makina, jumper and hard stuff. The noise you're talking about going through neckbreaker is a base track. A base track is a B side full of noises to mix with a melodic track. That's BCN mixing and i'm glad to hear you love it. Used to use dj punch all the time but since it got relaunched it's not bein workin on my machine. Right pain in arse cos was best mp3 site i'd ever used.
