Hi there,
New to the forum, so hello !
Went through my collection and dug out and dusted off some old hardcore tunes from back around 95-96. A mix of some classic old piano tracks. Enjoy :-)

So i gave it a listen, excellent stuff! If you do any more make sure you post them here. Maybe you should do a 97-98 mix if you were collecting Hardcore at that time still, I'd certainly like to hear it anyway.

I will dig out some more tunes and stick up another mix. Try and include some later tunes for the younger listeners !
Got some real early hardcore stuff, but they may be a little too old as back from in 92' when drum and bass producers made stuff, like DJ SS. Bet half the D&B heads wouldnt believe it was by them !

god im starting to feel really old now tho, im only 30 - never to old for hardcore :-)
favorite tunes got to be 'better day' brings back memories of some mad messed up times

Excellent set. Really love piano hardcore such as this. Takes me back in time.
for those who haven't heard it, you gotta listen through it all to appreciate the beauty of this.
sound is perfect on all that vinyl.
and the beatmatching was spot on 99.9% of the time ;)
Highly recommended download.
btw, what do you usually mix if not this, Greg?

I have been mixing various stuff including house, drum and bass. I always wanted to play hardcore, but there has always been very few events where I live, so got into playing stuff where I could play out.
Pick things up from other styles of mixing then transfer them across.
This set was pretty hard to do, as lots of quick mixes so not much time to cue up, and several are mixed from half way through the record to cut out the floor filler and leave just the killer !
