Ok, proberly buying a mixer soon but I have some questions. The Mackie 1604 VLZ pro looks nice.. but only 16 channels. That is alright for now.. but what if I get more gear and I'm run out of channels, can I add easy a second mixer that I can connect to the first one? If so, the Mackie 1404 VLZ pro is 50% cheaper then the 16 channel version, why not buying 2 1404 VLZ pro?

Hey, that's exactly what me and one of my friends have, 2 1402 VLV's. I like it, works nice. I didn't see much point in buying the 16 channel version either. I wanted about 20 total channels and I don't personally like the Spirit mixers so i got 2 1402's.

^_^

PS: If you don't mind non-slider faders and can deal with the knobs 2 1202's are really great. Smaller, 24 channels total 8 mono, cheaper...

Thanx soren

But how do you connect those mixers, the main out of the first mixer to a free channel of the second mixer? And if so, don't you have some delay or other things?
