Does anyone know of any proggies (freeware? eval versions) where that will allow me to just rip the vocals out of a mp3 or any song?

Thanks

There are direct X plugs to do this, but I don't recommend them it is just too hard to do.

Yeah I have used it, it is not the best unless the voice you are tring to rip is a robot with a monotone voice...

i been loking for something like this for about 3 years now...

the only way to really remove a vocal is if its mono...
what soundforge (and any other ripper) does, is remove all the frequencies which are shared by the 2 channels(this is what creates teh mono sound), and leaves the remaining stereo discrepancy...
But u can also lose the drum, and piano or whetever else that hasnt been phased in stereo.
Thats how most work in my experience

Apart from that, there is nothing... :(
