I have kept happyhardcore.com banner free since the start (of the new site at least)... I don't really want to put a banner system up because I don't want X10 camera and casino crap banners all over the site... I would much prefer banner ads from hardcore parties, record labels and such... at least music related....
Now I'm not going to turn down everyone nor allow everyone either, but I was thinking of having an instant banner section on the site where that ANYONE wishing to put a banner on happyhardcore.com can purchase banner space (impressions) direct from the happyhardcore.com... Now I know this is not for most of the people on the site, but I think it would be great for event organisers that want to get their event(s) advertised, or record labels with new releases.... What do people think?
There will be a few zones for the banners with different pricing for each zone, depending on what content is there....

i think its a good idea, good way to spread the word on events and releases.. i dont think anybody would have a problem with these types of ads.
its good choice about the other ads too.. i really hate when extra windows open for "24 hour casino royale!"

yeah i agree with Virus. Would be very good for party promotions and record labels.
Would this be the baners that you can close if you wish or a perminment banner on the site

i despise pop ups *cringe* lord knows how many times i've been trying to look up porn and uhh oh hehe =P thank god you can shut them off.
but yeah i think they are a good idea to get company names and such out and about. the key is moderation...

I agree... there should probly be banner adds, the money might perswade a certain someone (starts with an S) to work more on the site(cough cough chat cough cough), because that certain someone will be making money.
P.S. no stupid monkeys! they have to be hhc stuff. those darn monkeys suck gibblets.

Id say silvers got enuff to do TBH
but silver if you want any help on the site dude, i see its coded in asp and it just so happens i can code asp... so if you ever want a section doingm gear, or like an events poster or something doing, as me ill be happy todo it
but ask quick, im back at uni at beginning of feb, and they intend to pile on the work (but ill still work on hh.com cos it owns)

firstly, making money is not the goal here, it's to cover a few of the costs in running a site as popular as this. Second there is no money in banner ad's. Third if there is money to be made from the site it will go back into the site and happy hardcore (MasterWax for example).
