Hey..
It's undeniable that ecstacy is a big part of the "party", and "rave" world. Head over to www.PillReports.com. I am currently talking to Silver trying to get him to let me create a PillReports section for Happy Hardcore.com. It would include things such as a pillreports system set up like that at Pillreports.com, where people can post their impressions of pills. Through HappyHardcore this could educate a lot of people, and if it saved just one life, it would all be worth it. On the page there woudl be information about XTC, health risks etc.
Leave any feedback you might have for this kind of section at HappyHardcore. All positive/negative feedback welcome.

I personally think this is a bad idea for several reasons. First and most obvious reason is that this is a HHC site, not a Drug report site. There are loads of sites like Pillreport.com that already do this, why do we need another?
Second is the fact that the sections in this site aren't complete yet, and I would rather have them comlete than add a pill report section that already exists at other sites.
Third is that I think the idea of Pill Reports is bad. There are many dangerous substances like DXM and PMA that feel like E at low doses. So some person could take 1 pill of DXM or PMA and then report that it was good and some other person then gets false confidence in that type of pill and pop 3 of them and die. If you wanna know what's in a Pill I feel it's much safer to go to a site like dancesafe.org where they have actual lab test results along with pictures and dimentions of the pills they test. But even then who knows if it's the same pill that you got, or just one that looks the same??? ^_^

I would agree with soren here. It is a VERY shady area and although education is the way forward pill reports would, in my opinon cause problems rather than help.

Yes while I agree to some of this...Happy Hardcore music is a huge part of the rave world..and so are the drugs that are used at raves. In a way, these are all related. I believe a lot of people that came here would be interested in such information. It is not in any way promoting the use of XTC, its just supplying the raver with information that can possibly save someones life. I believe some of your arguments are saying just ignore that this is a part of the party world all together. I do not think we should ignore, but I also do not think we should promote. We should educate, and that is what I planned on doing with this section.

j silva - i agree with you on education, but soren made the point that there are already other sites that accomplish this task. www.happyhardcore.com is about happy hardcore. if every site attempted to cover all areas of everything, not much would ever get done.

I also agree with educating the masses, but as you said "Head over to www.PillReports.com". If Silver is really into the pill report idea the most I would want him to do is maybe add a link to Pillreports.com.
And using the logic that E is part of happy hardcore and hence we need a section on E is flawed for a few reasons. First because E is not a part of HHC for everyone. And second because using that logic Silver will also need to add sections on Phat pants, Glow sticks, candy jewelery, dancing, smiley t-shirts, PLUR, Sound and Light's, and so on ^_^
And I don't agree that HHC is a "huge" part of the rave world. At least not in my area (if only it were!!!!). And if you wanna say they are all related then I submit that House, Trance, Jungle, 2-Step, Garage (Yukky), Old School, and Ambient are all more closly related to HHC than E is and we need seperate sections for each one of those first.
Additionally, E is not the only Rave drug, so if you wanna address it why not also add sections for GHB, K, Acid, Shrooms, and Speed. Also most adverse events that happen at raves due do psychoactive substances are actually caused by dehydration and overheating, not by the actual substance. So why not add sections on hydration and heat awareness also???

Sorry if my last post came across as kinda snotty or bitchy, im really not trying to be. I would just personally prefer it if Silver channels his NRG into making this a better HHC web site and not into making it more versatile (Although I realise that's completely up to him). If somone wants info on something besides HHC they can simply go to another site that is dedicated to that particular facet ^_^

Oh I completely understand..
But the thing you may not realize is it would not affect any other parts of the page. I soley would work on this section, and even lend Silver a hand with the others if he would like. It would not take away from his time towards the more important sections of the page.
