Just to let you know about a site called www.tomdj.co.uk, this site was set up to let people know about DJ Tom Wilson, it started off getting 400 hits a month and is now getting 5000 hits a month.
Tom Wilson has been at the forefront of the Scottish dance scene for more years than he cares to remember!
His legendary dance show on Forth FM ran for 14 years! Because the show was only broadcast to East and Central Scotland , dance fans would go to extraordinary lengths to hear it. It’s a fact that 5 guys from Newcastle would all pile into an old Transit van every Saturday and drive up to an area in Scotland where they could hear it!! Tapes of the show were sent all over the place, that’s why you often heard Tom doing requests for listeners in Canada,Australia or Hong Kong!This was before the Internet sent radio signals across the globe.
Tom is also a music producer and has released around 10 singles including the club classic “Technocat” which gave him a top 40 hit in the UK and charted in several European countries. Record companies in London were also quick to spot a nice little earner in Tom, asking him to compile several dance albums for them. The most successful being the “Bouncing Beats” series. You may also see Tom’s name as a remixer on several chart acts such as N.Trance, TTF, Belinda Carlisle, Ice MC, Scooter, Mary Kiani, Dj Dado and the Handbaggers to name a few!
Gigging is something dear to Tom’s heart, he’d probably play for nothing if his agent would let him! He’s played at all the top gigs over the years naming Fantasia The Big Bang at the SECC back in ’92 as his fave gig.
He now does an old skool show on Beat 106 on a Sunday from 4pm to 7pm (www.beat106.co.uk) you can listen online.
In the site we have weekly chats with Artists and Dj's such as Scott Brown, Marc Smith (which is this coming Tuesday), Brisk, Ian Bland, Billy Ried, plus many more.
In the forums you can sell, swap or buy any MP3's, DJ mixes and vinyl (most of the people do prefer coming to myself) but we have many out there.

No disrespect or anything here... 5000 hits a month is about 8 visitors per day. You sure you mean hits?

Ok I dont know technical side of things, but what i can tell you it is very busy.
With 10 non members on every hour and many members popping in and out
