I have just bought HTID vol 2,

It is fantastic!! the tunes are amazing but am slighty concerned about the unmixed tunes at the end of each CD, There are 8 tunes unmixed in total and the CD i think is about £8, Now if you CD mix this is fantastic but as a stricktly Vinyl DJ this has concerned me slightly. You can basically get 2 cd's and 8 tunes for 8 quid!!!! is this wise
With the current state of mp3 rip offs i don't really think that was a good idea?!?
some thoughts

Is it wise?

Of course it is.
I use mainly vinyl myself but there are people crying out for unmixed tunes on CD and who are we to say that they shouldn't get them?

If more tunes were available unmixed on CD, there might not be as much illegal downloading going on.

IMO & Evo download (and Quosh) seem to be doing quite well so it's proven that people will pay for MP3's & CD's.

-----------------------------

Arguably one of the best

I agree that if they are easily accesable then maybe people will be less tempted to rip them off i just think 8 tunes and 2 cd's for £8 is a bit silly......

I preordered it over a month ago and it's still not here. Amazon did not dispatch it until monday. I am one unhappy customer.

Play.com seem to think it's not released til next month, so I cancelled the order I made with them which I placed in February and just went down HMV to buy it. Some idiot saw my Nu Energy shirt and thought I worked there, then stressed at me when I didn't know if the Flip 'n' Fill "album" would be restocked. Good job he ran off...

you must have been truly bemused by "hardcore" then, that 6 CD set on Decadance w/ Sy & Unknown.

3 CDs upfront, 1 CD upfront and unmixed ( 12 tracks? ) and 2 CDs of unmixed old-skool HH ( albeit slightly dodgily sourced )

Unmixed CDs = w00.

Buy RFUCD001 ;)
