no-one who saw how concerned storm looked because of the poeple going down, at the end of Slammin' would say he was up his own arse, he cares for the ravers, he cares for the scene, he rinses the mic. nuff said on that topic already me thinks.
as for the rave, ive never experianced attitude in a hardcore room before till this night. volume was too low towards the beginning, no shuttle buses as advertised the next morning. apart from that it went off though. i dont want to be negative but people need to learn to rave safe.
as for the winners, i cant believe heartbeatz won best track...i think its because of all the remixes personally. my choice would have been this is how we do it. and scott brown for producer too. hixxy rightfully won his award, although i think dougal deserves one of them too.

We're not saying Storm wasn't concerned, just that he's not as down-to-earth as some of the other MCs.

Congrats to all who won, pretty good results.
Good on Gammer especially!

I do wish people would stop posting up "their" version of the results, it just confuses people who dont know which is the actual ones.
As for the how and the why, the four most deserved awards in there are Gammer, Wotsee, Sy as dj and Hixxy as Outstanding contrribution.
As for B&S Best producer, heartbeatz best track and raverbaby best label, well considering Compilations outsell vinyl copies by a large margin, and mainly compilations have featured a large large bundle of rb tracks, i can see why thats the result.
As for people voting for Scott brown as the outstanding contribution, i can see why, hes had a label (and sub labels) running for 10 years, non stop, thats a rediculous amount of tunes by him hes put out! but... people like sy/hixxy have also done the same without leaving hardcore, and i think it swayed in hixxys favor this year due to the amount of work hes put in with HTID events.
All good tho in the end, and it is actualy a diplomatic process (id like to think so), although slamin vinyl last event at the sanc event of the year... heh, my arse.

Not how I voted but I wouldn't knock any of the results. IMO Raver Baby did deserve to win best record label they havn't bought much out but what they have bought out has been of a very high quality (except for the cheepo glue used on the sleeves!). IMO evolution stuff is all starting to sound the same i'm not saying its bad just that i'd like to hear something new from the label.

MC Storm is hilarious to listen to, but he's unfortunately so fun and easy to mock. :
"AHMA RAYVAH NAHT UH CRAYZEH DRUG ADDICKT!! JOUS ASSEPT EHT!!"
Come ON... I am SO SICK of Heartbeatz-- I didn't like it the first time I heard it and I still don't, and the fact that's it catching up with Sandstorm on number of remixes makes me puke.
(I AM EXAGGERATING)
Angel Eyes is a truly beautiful song. Rarely do you feel a song's beauty anymore.
And, Fraud, you're so sweet to include the local/underground. Comet's certainly made a large contribution to SOMETHING though!! :D

Can't beleive Brisk & Ham or Scott Brown didnt get best producer.
Or Angel Eyes/ Fly With You best track (spot the Brisk, Ham, Scott Brown mark )
p.s: no V.A.G.A.B.O.N.D/ Euphoria either
ttly that or 24/7
