Good idea guys me and my mate take it in turns to drive up to party's on a regular bases some events loads of our mates come but usually it's just us 2 so we have a couple of spare car seats if anyone is from the Wycombe, Aylesbury side of Bucks and Oxfordshire and needs a lift.

Ps. When loads of us go we get mini bus's and nearly always have seats spare so you would still be welcome, none of us are ned's were all decent polite village folk.

I'm 18 now and still havn't been to a proper rave yet, reason being that my friends mostly think that 'that stuff u listen 2 is shit' with the exception of 1 maybe 2 at the most. I think ur idea is great butI don't think it would work! I'd b well up 4 it if u lived in the midlands area but ur not so ..... maybe when i go 2 uni ill meet some more like-minded people such as urselves and i will no longer be a virgin of the rave!

ok so maybe i personally do not live in the midlands area, but, if you look at Baldo's post on page one (which i must say as well, cheers for the support man; its greatly appreciated ) he is from the midlands area, and as i was saying earlier on in the topic, if people can arrange amongst themselves to travel down in a party to help out people in your situation, then there is every reason that this could work out perfectly well.

don't be faint hearted about it! i have every faith that this will work. trust in the rest of the hardcore family here, and as long as you, along with the rest of us keeps the drive to make this work, there is no doubt in my mind that this will go on smoothly!

keep an eye on this topic to see how things progress and although there is no set date yet, i'm sure there will be one soon for when this kicks off.

cheers!

Honestly officer, it's for medicinal purposes! Just ask my doctor, he's right over there eating the curtains!

18. This sounds a g8 idea. I have the same problem, getting a group of mates to come to a rave. There just not into their HH enough to make the effort :-( and with work, uni, exams there is nva a time wen everyone is available. So, I would defo be up for this! I live in the North-West. How about meeting up to go to Hardcore til I die event. There is an event at National Skydome Arena in Coventry sun 29th May and Milton Keynes 9th July.

Happy Hardcore 4eva

This is looking good!

Thanks for all your support so far. I know there's a long way to go but it's nice to see so much early interest from everybody.

Personally, i can't wait to get something going here so please keep those ideas coming for where and when you think would be a good place to start. The more ideas we have (be as silly or specific as you like), the better chance we have of making this work.

Who knows, we could end up with something rather special. I can see it now - Days out, T-Shirts, a newsletter, even our own event!

Anybody wanting to get involved, or needing more info, please feel free to PM me, add me to msn [email protected] or email me [email protected]

Or alternatively contact Jester at [email protected] (this may be made up)!!

Thanks again.

The D, the M, the D the M the S......

Arguably one of the best

Not a problem mate i really believe your idea's a good one. We all no how wrong a lot of people's view of the rave scene is, and with some of the scare stories about no wonder a lot of really nice people decide against goin out to events.

Right now i'm still up from uproar last night had the best time in ages and am so glad of the good the rave scene has done me. I moved down this area around a year and a half ago and the amount of mates i've got through the scene is unbelievable, without the laindon lot and many others i've met through events life would be so much duller.

This site aswell has been a crackin place to meet like minded people, had a quality night wi stony mctony at slammin a while back and right now grigoair's crashed out downstair after bank holiday sesh wi my lot. Many other folks i talk to aswell outside the forums like steve-o, sytronik etc and will defo be meetin up for raves in future.

Hardcore is a gd community to be part of no matter what some people think, i do understand why some folks are nervous about tryin it though. To get the mates i've now got when i first moved i did stuff like attend events myself etc, wasnt really nervous cos had already been ravin for few years before and new how friendly it was. But i no i wouldnt have done my first rave alone though so your defo helpin other people by doin this and the more sound ravers the better atomsphere at events imo.

Yah man awsome idea.....Ive been trying to do this for the last two years.....Best way to do it is to bring people to raves and WALLA! Addicts lol. No one can go to one rave and say "Well that was fun, but im done...." People want more!!! Its hilarious! But awsome. So the best way to get a group together is just to invite people to go... and they dont even need to be hardcore fans, just invite anyone. Works for me...

I'm in a similar boat to Lucy, not quite 18 yet and I don't think the parents would be keen on me travelling half the country to meet people I've never even met before. But wait...theres more.....i'm 18 in November oh yes! Already asking round the 6th form and people from work if they'd be interested. There's a couple of people interested so far, all really sound people. I think it looks like we're gona try and do NYE, should be immense!
