There are a slew of those types on there, but there are also a ton of good music industry and scene contacts, as well as great networking possibilities. That's pretty much why I joined. Of course, any new friends that I meet are a bonus.

I started the account a few months ago, but only started really paying attention to it about a week ago. So far I've met a local house producer who has invited me to his studio to get some basic training in production, and I also hooked up with an old friend that I haven't heard from in several years.
I also now have links to Sean Apollo's and Knightmare's (members here) profiles, which lets me learn a bit about them, which I think is cool.

I joined myspace cuz I wanted to know what the gabber-scene was like worldwide. Many of the friends i have in my list are hardcoreheads from around the globe and it's cool to stay up to date on scenes, hypes, general likes and dislikes of the ppl, politics, events, and so on. Made some cool friends on there. myspace rox!
plus, my page kicks serious ass! :p
