get over it dude he isn't hardcore anymore.
I think Hixxy is the reason that Hardcore is bigger than its ever been. When Hardcore "died", Hixxy lead the battle to make Hardcore what it is today. Show him some respect.
Ya, im still trying to figtre how how hixxy is not "hardcore" anymore
and still there is no reply.

^ Let's end this feud, at the end of the day, love hixxy or hate him, if it wasn't for him hardcore would not be as popular NO DOUBT. In some of your opinions, he may have dented the scene, made it pooh with all his hard trancey stuff, but when push comes to shove, he is giving hardcore a serious name and certaintly making it more recognised with popular dance releases and HTID concerts. Like i said not good for some of you, but he's the one with the fat paycheck.

ok i couldnt be arsed to read all ten pages of this thread but it seems pretty bitchy and pointless. on the hixxy note, he's still an artist who makes hardcore music, maybe its not hardcore music you like and maybe you dont think he's being true to the scene whatever thats your opinion but if your saying he's not hardcore like he's not making or playing hardcore music, well its not like he's making fcuking r n b is it

When i say he isn't "hardcore" I just simply mean he isn't doing actual hardcore music. Its just to trancey and "nrg" like. Not trying to fight on forums as most people on here like to bicker and argue over crap that are just opinions. Pretty pointless to me.

It's not a case of having a different opinion, Hixxy is making hardcore music, everyone was just trying to explain that to you.

i can't remember hixxy doing one trance track, yeah his mixes and hardcore songs are trancey influenced but they're still hardcore. either way he has contributed alot to hardcore with HTID events and also the fact it would be nowhere near as big as it is nowadays without him. it is his label that is pushing hardcore into commercialism whether you like it or not
there are plenty just like him, why not have a pop at them aswell?

Sorry I have to agree, its hardcore, its just all got more trancey.
Now Hixxy has deffinately lead the way in that but comparing 94 to 98
stuff and now just ain't the same, Not saying its bad, i stress that stuff like
Ultimate High, your my angel are excellent, but they are more ibiza sound based.
Once again breakbeats and Piano breaks suffer to some degree, while Flip and Fill
commercial stuff gains. Its crap but what can ya do, Personally, I'm kinda glad about it, it stops beer boys and dickheads getting into the scene.
Still not sure if it came out of modern hardcore mind, or if it was more producers dj's and promoters cashing in on a good thing. Still trance did come outta dance and rave, just like jungle , nrg blah blah.....but only hardcore will fuse or try to fuse anything. If for the moment its trance so be it, it will change again and that's what makes the music so amazing, just look at Free your Mind. That ain't trance,
it's also hardcore. I still try and mix anything and everything, well nearly.
