I think Bonkers could be coming to an end after 16 of 17 to be honest. Personally, I want Bonkers to continue for as long as possible but I don't think that will be the case.

I say very doubtful that it will be the last, i think at least five more are yet to come.
I hope your right mate :)

If you mean in terms of publicity, I compleatly agree. So many people wouldn't have gotten into hardcore if it wasn't for the Bonkers CDs. So many people spot the pretty CD cover in the corner of their eye in the CD isle at ASDA. It grabs attention for the scene, and without Bonkers, I doubt the scene would be as big as it is today.

Trust me there is no chance in hell that there will be another 5 Bonkers albums. As i said i'm 99% sure that this will be the best. (Sales aren't as good as you think people)
It will be a shame, but there's gonna be loads of albums anyway next year so why bother.

'Skelter have just jumped on the band wagon now Hardcore has gained a bit of popularity again. Skelter is now owned by Club Sidewinder and believe me they would have no interest in Hardcore except to maybe milk what money they can from it.'
I know the owner and promoter of Helteskelter and he would be highly offended to read views such as this... the guy has lived and breathed hardcore for the last 15 years - which is more than I bet you can say. Helterskelter have always done their bit for Hardcore - everyone who runs nights and sells records is doing it for the money, but Helterskelter are one of the only ones left that scarifice costs in their promotions time and time again to bring quality and authenticity. Why do you think Helterkelter still have the power to recruit the original legends of the Hardcore scene - because they all stared out together and they all clearly respect the name... i respect what bonkers has done for the scene (just always haed the marketing) but the soul of the industry lies within the old boys

When exactly was the last time Helter Skelter done a hardcore party? Please remember that at the recent events they done it was HTID. The only cd's they bring out are rehashed tape packs that they probably didn't even bother to license the tracks for (which just happened to arrive as hardcore became popular again). Helter Skelter was a decent establishment of the hardcore community but... as far as I'm aware they were bought out by Sidewinder as this is who now supplies all there goods/tickets to retail outlets. I kind of have a problem seing how owners of a UK Garage party can have nothing but love for hardcore.
Dont get me wrong I really respect Helter Skelter and what they have done for the Rave scene.
