Well guys i have been using Project 5, Dimension pro and Rapture, all great and all, now since i have learned so much and the style of happy hardcore songs i came upon a problem :D
SOUNDS/Samples
i really need more happy hardcore sounds, not saying that i could make them in pro and rapture, but they would be limited to number.... So i looked into http://www.vipzone-samples.com/index_us.php they are great sounds, the Lead 1 and Pitched Basses packages are good quality and have a hardcore sound to them, all in total it can come to
95$ USD or 105$ Usd for another package, JUST one thing though they use Sf2 files, which are instrument files, but my Rapture uses SFZ and Wavs, it is a snyth by the way, its like Z3ta that u always talk about but with alot more features and sounds.
Sooo that leads(ha) me to have to get reason 3. which i can for free if i ask my sound production teacher or find a sampler to do that.

Yet i still think there are a lack or leads, lol i can never have too much, so another thing comes to my mind Syntheziers, like real stuff made by Korg or Yahama or anything else. Most say that Hardware is the real way to get the best u can use rather than buying fake soft snythes that just try to mimic the quality of the syntheziers. But they are pricey, i could save but dont really want to through 3k out the door lol for something that be needed as much as other thing with that money.

So i have heard or Z3ta, Styluris, Albino 3, Zebra 2, Vanguard, and all that stuff, idk just what to DO, oh i do realize if i get a hardware keyboard, then i will use protools to record with it. But jsut tell me what u think here are the chooses in abc
A. 105 USd, vip zone, samples, get reason 3 or free sampler
B. 400-3300 Usd and get a real syntheziers, and if so which one?
C. 50-300 Usd software snyth, just dont want to learn another one lol
D. Here is something better ______________________________(u fill in lol)

Thx for your help ill check this daily :D

Oh yeah Massive by Native Instruments, i heard that i really good and i went down 100 and is 200 USD and its got that hardcore stuff, if anyone knows about it plz give an review on it ifs its got those sounds happy hardcore needs or more hardstyle

P.s i just got Dt 770 pro's for christmas hehe :D they own, they are high quality headphones freq response is 5hz-35,000hz heh i dont think i can hear past 22,000 lol

fo rheadphones u dont really need to hear past 26k imo lol.
stick with osftware, i suggest getting logic or cubase, its better starting on the best.
hardware is only an option if you have alot of money imo, very expensive, and you dont really need it tbh.

well cubase and logic have good enough ones, and reason has some pretty sick ones aswell.. if you are using fl studio or cubase or logic, some vst's are z3ta, z3ta is a pretty good synth, its easy to use, not the BEST synth, but it can get the job done in nearly every way, its pretty straight forward, and gives you a lot of room to do what you want. Vanguards sound quality is shit and its a really crappy synth, i have heard from some producers that the new one is good bu ti havent tried it out.. ive also heard novation bass-station or v station is good aswell.. i basicly only use z3ta, vanguard and some others, id like to have an even larger synth though.

Get a hardware synth, either something from the Virus range or Roland JP8000/8080. Both piss on software from a great height. Even if they didn't it's just good to have something you can actually touch and connect physically.
JP8000's cost about 450 max, you can get JP8080's as little as 250 sometimes. The Virus range pretty much starts at 300 now with the Virus B, the Virus C is best value for money which you can get for around 400-500 pounds, absolute bargain compared to the 750 it would have been a couple of years ago. Both are used widely in Hardcore and Trance and sound excellent.

To hear what they sound like in isolation check some of these mp3 demo's: http://www.vengeance-sound.com/eng/indexes/indexSounds.html

You don't need to have alot of money to buy synths, i certainly don't have alot of money but do manage. You just need to care enough about what you to do spend money on it, and if your not willing to spend that money then you shouldn't really be doing it, at least, not in a proffesional context.

you seriously dont need to waste money on hardware.
a large percentage of producers use software, and only the top end ones use hardware because they can afford it, why waste money on hardware.

Because it's better than software in every way, and if nothing else, it's a real physical object!

The synths i mentioned are very cheap for what they do. Anyway even if software did do more, it sounds shit in comparison, so what good is it?:P

^^^^

lol whatever you say big fella
i still stand by my point, software was made to be very convienient, to be honest it really depends on the hard ware, there are some really swell VST's out there, and all in all, software is going to be much cheaper and easier.

I say, dont worry about hardware unless you have the money.

Yeah thx, and hard2get is right hardware is alot better i just didnt know what most were using lol, there are good looking softs and vst's, but a REal hardware is so much easier to use and i personally think u play different with it, lol but my music engineer teacher doesnt think so, and he says u need different software like protools or logic to use it, but yet again he thinks techno is sneekers in a dryer ehhh i argue with him every day about it lol :D to prove him wrong one day ill record it and make a mix out of it and then through some pennys and quaters into the drier lol :D

ok so were do i find the rolands to buy in america and whats the link for the virus's prices, oh i like the link that u supplied very good, but were can i find a and b i found c

are there like newer versions that are close and u can download the sound bank into the other rolands or casio's? and has the same modulations or close to it, cause that is the thing that makes it look really good, just the way u can change everything into such a different sound. And if so which models and where can i buy them and do i have to buy a portable memory stick for em.
P.s the 8000 on ebay is from 400-500 and they only have 2 and there.. ehhh lol i just dont like buying snyth's second hand, cause u never know if something doesnt work or like that, unless i test it out

oh here is a list of some i see idk
Roland SH-201 Synthesizer
Roland JUNO-D 61-Key Synthesizer

Roland JUNO-D 61-Key Synthesizer

For a start Roland synths are built like a tank, secondly people don't sell faulty synths unless saying so :P The Roland SH 201 will be able to get similar sounds to the JP8080 so you could go for that. You can get the 8080 as little as 250 if you look around!
I seriously wouldn't bother with the Juno D. While i have no doubt that it is good, it's just marketed at people like you who would buy it without knowing better, or those just wanting it as a performance keyboard, but it's not ideal as a synth compared a Virus or JP8000/8080 or something.
You could get the latest Virus, the Virus TI probaby as little as 850 pounds from the right place (would be the desktop version too). Also the Roland V-Synth is a beast too, it's worth checking that out aswell. Both new synths, you wouldn't be dissapointed with either.
