Hey,
I'm in the states, and some friends of mine were wondering where to find japanese hardcore vinyl/cd singles. They are big fans of things like the speedmania series and are interested in spinning that style of music, if it's even possible... But i figured this forum would be a good place to find out about it. (One of them visits japan yearly, so if they are only available there, he could find them then)
Any help is much appreciated!

i'm pretty sure the stuff on the dancemania cd's is produced for the cd's and that's it..
There are a few japanese hardcore labels, but they aren't really in a "dancemania" style..

There are not many hardcore releases, perhaps like 10-20 in total... We are attempting to stock some Japanese stuff on our store so please hang on :)

yeah, I'm all about the dynasty and upsurge releases and have ordered from guhroovy a couple times...
I'm just tryin to help them out and find the speedmania style tracks. I guess it's not really hardcore but japanese pop music??

from what i saw, Dancemania is a bunch of random songs, and there are many types of them, like, speed 6, love mix, etc... etc..., some of the songe even appear on Bemani games like Dance Dance Revolution, Dance Maniax, and Beatmania IIDX, and from waht i saw and played , they had a FEW hardocre songs, DDR Extreme had Be Lovin by D-Crew (which that song first appered in the original Beatmania) and follow the sun which came in DDR 2nd Mix and Shooting Star (but this was the super euro mix) was on 4th mix, when Pop'n Music 10 was relesed in Augest, i was very suprised to see a GABBA song on there....
(Beatmania IIDX 9th Style is the best music game i'ver ever played, too bad the U.S may never see it) -.-

there is one gabba song i defintly know of in the bemani series, which is hell scaper. Max 300, maxx unlimated, legend of maxx are all 300+ bpm but not sure if there considered gabba. Parinoia surivivor, and surviver maxx are all around 280 bpm

max 300 is classified as hardcore techno, Maxx UNLIMITED is hardcore trance, (for some odd and bizzare reason) Legend of MAX is somthing i dont know, Paranoia Survivor is jungle and so is paranoia survivor MAX, i have seen only a few Gabba songs in the entire Bemani series, and they were in Beatmania and Pop'n music (which really suprised me)

I found a Wicked Japanese Hardcore radio station through winamp the other day  . I'll post the link when I find it again.

i think the station simon is talking about is http://www.hardrave.jp/ i think most of the songs on it are done by DJ sharpnel. I love that station btw

thanks for all the info guys... I guess i was wrong to say "hardcore", but fast japanese music is what they like. Gonna check out that radio station for sure!

Update: Shop.HappyHardcore.com has ordered 190 Japanese hardcore CD singles for the store... so expect something in 1-2 weeks.
