The email said it's supposed to be like NG/BB and TNC, but 2019
Most of it is just the regular the "let's emulate Styles and Gammer a la 2015" fare. One or two of the tracks does sound like TNC stuff. But I can't say I heard any NG/BB references.
But the gabber track does sound nice.

Depending on if you can call Freeform for going harder, but Darwin has made Freeform, and at least 2 more gabber tracks.
one with Skinny, (Skinny & Darwin - I Can't Get You) and one with Marc Smith (Marc Smith & Re-con - Stomp! (Marc Smith & Darwin remix))

I like what they did with track 3 - the 'impulse riders' one (it's darwin again, isn't it? lol)
Emulating the dutch happy hardcore sound.
also that track 6
Really like the direction
bizzare criticism, but...I didn't find them ...dry enough??? I suppose it's just the modern mastering/production techniques, but the reverb on stuff makes it sound really really *wide*
either way, breakbeat stuff aside, certainly the most interesting/exciting label in UK hardcore at the moment.
I love the concept, I'd like to submit stuff to it, If I can pry myself out of 1999. haha.

well i have been pointed that way and as a result, i have purchased it there and at a slightly higher price than HU. At least that way, the money gets to the right people. I can't say the same for the other new HU stuff.

Probably the same PayPal account in the end, but for those that are paying the minimum at BandCamp they're likely getting less money because of BandCamp's 30% cut (15% BandCamp, 15% "Payment Processor"). Since the HU web shop doesn't use a secondary service for managing orders, they likely receive the full (standard) rate from PayPal (3.4% + ?.20 PayPal).
While I generally advocate the use of BandCamp above all label shops, as their rate matches iTunes, but gives you lossless and unlimited re-downloads, generally direct sale will be a better option in favor of the seller.
