I wanna start mixing but idk how to start off. Could someone give me some ideas?

buy some tables and some records :)
watch some dj's spin, and get the idea of what they're doing, and try it at home yourself.. it'll take alot of practise before anythng sounds good though! :)

nothing less than direct drives...if you really want to be serious about spinning then you should buy 12's.

just start collecting records now, see if you can get on your friends decks and whatnot if they got them and get a feel for what you do and don't like and if you're even goig to carry on with it. then look at ur budget and get the best equipment you can reasonabley afford, technics are considered the top of the line turn table, while there is a lot of debate on mixers, though vestax is quite popular.

yeah...im going to start mixing, apollo is going to help me get started, is there any tips or nething helpful i should know before i dive into all this stuff?

listen to alot of the music your learning to spin, know the music and once you get records know your records like the back of your hand.

well you say listen to the songs before you get the records, where should i look to get songs before purchasing them on record? should i use kazaa or what not or is there a better place to go?
