I was wondering, how many of you the first time you heard electronic music, were like all into it and wanted to dive right in and get into this music scene or didnt really know at first or completly hated it.
I myself didnt like it, but i listend to it more and more being around my friends and now i like it.

i really liked mars - pump up the volume when i first heard it but it wasn't until i went to my first party that i truely fell in love with electronic music in general.

It was "love at first site", although i cant remember the tune, it was in the year 90 and on the music video they where driving formula's, the old ones....

My first memory of electronic music would probably be that "Here's Johnny" techno song from the (early? mid?) 90's. But I was only itty bitty then, and to tell you the truth, it kind of scared me, heheh.
Then, when I was about 13, I started getting into commercial "dance" mixes for some strange reason (probably peer pressure heh). Ahh, Aussies will know what I mean when I say "Wild" and "Nick Skitz" 
Around the time I was 14 and a half, a lot of my friends were quite a bit older, and introduced me to psy-trance. I never really got into it, but it led me to the world of raves. The next two years, I was really into pumping, heavy hard trance (which I still enjoy).
But all that just led me into hardcore  I first heard what I can now identify as happy hardcore when I was probably about 16. And I can never go back

Yeah. I got into wild and mr skitz. A bit of rob brizzi there too...
But when I heard the sounds of hardcore, there was no going back. I had been un-plugged

well little me ......... hmmmmmmmm ..... i first got into d&b bout three months after that i heard SCOTT BROWN -- as my first hardcore music at a my first real rave in BRISBANE ---- and oh my did i fall in love with the scene and HARCORE ----- will never go back ---- dont mind occasional d&b/break beats ----- but hardcore will always be number 1 .... doofdoofdoofdoofdddoofdoofdoofdoof

Yeah I live in BRISBANE ----- the hardcore scene is goin off at the moment ------ come check it out ------- FRANTIC is on this weekend with SCOTT ALERT from melbourne -----

i was a trance head before i was hardcore and then i hurd bonkers 9 AD on TV and fell in love with it, now hardcore is my 2nd life!

probli some of the first shit i got into was Nick skits and that heres johnny track
but then when i was around 12 i heard happy hard o n radio around 95-96 and bam...stuff was nice

Luv the movie sountrack 
But anyway, I got hooked on the electronic sound as a huge fan of 2 unlimited. Luved their sound, also some sound of the soundtrack cd I got with a videogame (Killer Instinct) persuaded me to dig into the electronic scene.
