because you're controlling everything with a mouse, and you can do only one thing at a time, with your hands, you can do 2 or 3 things at once.. and you're also not playing mp3's.

well, if you can record the music you've purchased onto your computer from the record or CD, then why spend more money on software and invest in another record player or cd deck?

There's nothing against it, just some druid people will belittle anything that doesn't correspond to there views! it's like most things there is more than one way to do them, some are better than others, and some are better for different individuals. Much like all the Flip & Fill/Ultrabeat hardcore mixes, there's more than one way to do things, and they believe pop trance to be the way for them.

There's often more than one way to do most things, and people will discover what is the best way for them!

i mean it's fine if its just something you're tinkering around with, but i wouldn't advise it you're planning on playing in front of an audience, it's a lot trickier to make it sound proper, in my opinion.

That's a LOT better than your first attempt!!!

You even managed to get an "imo" in the second effort!

i suggest VTT (Virtual Turn Tables) from Carrot Inovations. I got it and it's ok for me, there's only 3 hardware things you need, speakers, headphones and this little adapter that separates a stereo signal to 2x mono signals (from Maplin or some other shop)
suports wavs and mp3s

i personaly think that it depends on what your wanting to do. Just mix for fun, play for crowds, make cd. Eather way this is a bad idea for anything other then just having fun and messing around. Go get some decks bud!

just a idea...hehe
