Yeah, lol, you thought they weren't real!!
What about those nature documentaries??
Anywho, some people (way out west) have roo's as pets along with other strange wildlife, but they are breeding heaps now, so thats more like pest, not pet...
I woulnd't mind koalas, but they are really lazy. More so than me...

When I was a little kid we went on this excursion to a wildlife park. I was bitten on the hand by a kowari (a small, retarded variety of kangaroo) - I've never liked the oversized rats since. In fact, whenever I eat out I go out of my way to order kangaroo meat if it's available.

^^ very rich, very tasty, but it gets tough very easily if it's left on the grill too long. Best served rare. The closest thing that I can think of that you can get in Europe is venison.

Japan has the most rubbish / trash I have EVER seen per person, it's like no one cares about it, everything is throwaway. With that said there is also garbage around the place, the roaches and crows have a field day...
Japan has the biggest roaches and crows I have ever seen, I'm talking like 10cm / 3 inch roaches and the crows are bigger than chickens...
I once dropped a phone book on a roach at my work place and it crawled out from under the book... I was like WTF!
I don't get many roaches but out the back of my place are those damn crows and street cats (way to many of them as well).

Ok on a more serious note. I've heard of freaky roaches from South America that are as big as rats. But if the crows are bigger that my chicken.....

a little breif history of my house,
I live in the "ghetto" part of Hayward and my room's window faces the street one night i was messing around with my decks trying to mix(i've been using my instinct to switch) and my parents were gone, i guess it was kind of loud and my window was open, then this crackhead/gangsta looking guy walks up to my window and says "what the f*** are you doing? playing that g** a** fruity music! you best turn that s*** off or or ima have to scrape yo a**" im not sure if that counts as a backyard, but that freaked the HELL out of me, and I got really paranoid now i keep my wondow closed and shades closed, AND play my music really low oh and one time some people jumped our fence to get away from the cops and we think he hid in our shed in our backyard, (i am NOT playing around these events really happened )

Well, as Stry said, roo meat is like steak. At least it tasted like steak...
yeah for other people's info, my chicken is not very big. It looks very slender, like a sleek racing chicken. So it could be a jungle fowl. But they must be huge crows!
But keeping to the topic, roo's in an urgan yard are a bit wacky... Yeah they look cute from a distance, but when the damn thing comes charging for you, stomping around, its not cool. Especially when its going crazy.
