Nah. The Hoover was about before this. Even 'The Prodigy' use it in 'Charly'.

Yes you are right Close Your Eyes is from 1992 but I thought it was 1991. Charley would predate this but Charley would have likely come after Dominator and Mentasm which are regarded the original two Hoovers

The hoover patch is from the Roland Alpha Juno which was made in the 80s. So there will be even earlier tracks with hoovers on. The patch is called 'What The'..
