Hi everyone! I'm new to happyhardcore.com so I'm sorry if this is a silly question but are not not allowed to request links/mp3 files for songs we can't find? I just started DJing and I'm finding it really difficult to locate and download/purchase a lot of the older tunes that I love, and I wonder if anyone on this site would have the files on hand. Or if someone is willing to convert their vinyl tracks to mp3 if they own the vinyl.

I'm also not totally sure of the legality of what I'm asking for and I'm seeing mixed messages about it online. But it makes me wonder how bigger hardcore DJs get their music in digital format if it supposedly only exists on vinyl? :/ It's all very confusing to me blegh. Any help or advice is appreciated on this topic!

All I can legally say is most tracks will be on Beatport, Bandcamp, Juno, etc...

For bigger Hardcore DJs, digital masters are given our privately.

For older labels, the easiest to find tracks from are Next Gen/Blatant Beats and Evolution Records (Search for Brisk or Scott Brown on both Beatport, Junodownload and Toolbox Digital)

There are some other sporadic labels, you can get but you'll have to pay for a whole bundle, like the DJ Vinylgroover bundle (most of the The World of Obsession is on there) over at HU

If you're a beginner DJ, welcome to happyhardcore.com, it's cool that there are more and more of us. You can learn to convert such files yourself. It's not as hard as you imagine. I was not particularly eager to do it at first, but then I learned how to do it, and it's not a problem for me. Maybe you just found a heavy specialist converter whose interface you don't understand. So look for a program that will make it easier for you to change the file format. But if it is too difficult for you, send me your files, and I will convert them with the converter https://convertr.org/wav-to-mp3.

This is the most insanely thread that I have ever seen.

Did ya checkout or even ripped in low quality in Bandcamp?
Did ya checkout in beatport and take off the previews?
Did ya checkout in YouTube and take off in mp4 format file? lol

Well, welcome to comedy.

What are you after? What era? Most stuff from 2000 onwards is all available to buy digitally and lots of the 90s happy hardcore is available with most bits coming from certain people in 2022.
Just look on beatport. Juno. Bandcamp etc. And type in the name of the producer/ DJ or record label.
We?ve all spent thousands over the years buying vinyl and digital copies. I?ve been buying music for 23 years and I don?t mind sending anyone a few tracks here and there but not a whole collection.

But, but, but don?t you want your whole collection converting to 64kbps MP3 by some nice guy on the internet.

But in all seriousness.

Hardcore Underground, Bandcamp and 24/7 Hardcore are also good places to look.

AudioJunkie also put out 2 albums of old stuff recently. Beware Vol 1 is in MP3.
