T A P E S R B E T A
Has Any 1 Eva Heard Ov Tape Compression? Wel Anyways Wot It Is Is Where On A Tape The Bass Tones And Treble Tones R Closer 2geva There 4 Creating A Warmer Bigger Soundin Sound. On Cdz If U Really Wind Them Up They Sound Very Toppy And Evn Wen U Turn Up The Bass Its Not Like Propa Bass, Its Digital Soundin. Cds, Mp3s, Mini Disks Etc Use 0s And 1s (Binary) Where As On A Tape Vinal Real 2 Real Etc The Sound Is Actully There. Cdz R More Convenent But If Were Talkin Bout Ova All Sound Den The Tapes Obviusly Win.

Uh, there is no way a mini-disc can get cd quality audio; for one it doesn't make sense with the media that you are using. I've heard mini-disc recordings before and they cut down the mids and mid-bass a lot, pretty disappointing when you're listening to hardcore. The music get's its balls cut off basically

Stereo -> 80min @ CD Quality (i think, but comparing to the times seen below it would be 264kbps?)
LP2 Stereo -> 160min @ 132kbps
LP4 Stereo -> 320min @ 66kbps
and if you record it as Mono, it takes half of the space stereo does...

True cd quality audio is a straight up .wav file. It registers around 704kbps I believe. Obviously there is a lot of air in it, but you can't cut that out without losing the integrity of the rest of the sounds. I've heard the difference, and it's very distinguishable to a DJ, which, luckily for Sony, most people aren't

cd's/md's for quality (like the hardcore heaven cd's) but u cant get that feelin that comes from a tape on a cd. i got some garage on cd and it makes the mc's sound like there in a bathroom and it sounds wank. id deff prefer it on tape. mind u it is garage. is suppose wankness is expected from garage crud.
oh s*it man, what was i saying?
