Hello there,
I'm a close friend of DD Zion.
We've noticed that ' Blue Sky Day' is still very populair although its some years ago that it was released.
We're thinking it over to re-release 'Blue Sky Day' together with a up to date remix but we aren't shure if its a good thing to do that.
There's some nostalgia round this record (we've pressed only 500 of them) and we don't want to destroy that.
So, before we decide to do this re-release (with a fresh remix), we want some feedback from fan's of this classic record.
I send this question-message to some people here and there who are familiar with the record and maybe want to give us some feedback if we should do this or not?

Yeah, I'd LOVED the original, probebly wouldn't be a fan of a newer sounding mix, but aslong as the orginal version is on there, I'll be more than happy  .

i say you release it as a cd if anything... there is something mysterious and wonderful about owning the record.

If you put the orginal mix on the new release you will have people complain that now their record is no longer rare...
but if you don't put it on there people will complain that the original is better and you should have put it on there... the same goes for a new hardcore remix...
You can't win, but I think the safest bet is to do both, put the original and a new hardcore mix on the release with whatever other mixes you plan to put on there.

I'll think we wil go for a re-releasse and we wil make shure the new version is of the same quality too!
Question for 'No Left Turn'
You said that it was allready going to be re-releassed?
I've tried to connect to the internetadres you gave me but ther's nothing there...
If they want to re-releasse it, I'm affraid they have a serious problem...
