I only went to a handful of events, and half of those were near me. I'm generally not a big fan of live music or parties anymore, so I probably won't attend any more events unless they're close and I know I'll like the music.

Hear that. I'm still pretty addicted to events. I mostly do dnb or psytrance festivals these days though. HTID in the sun was always a dream of mine though, so I am pretty hyped for this.
hardcore parties even in CA aren't what they used to be, for sure.
