Couldn't we have done with a few more B&S bangers?

Just looking at it today, it's such a shame how few tracks we had that were classics with certain styles.

Pre 2004ish it's sonic, total xtc, oxygen.

Post with that epic snare and percussion sound. My angel, ultimate high (remix), electric (and the bonkers remix), torn, heartbeats, sunlight (remix), someday (remix), I adore.

The sound evolved too quickly and ended up as it did, awful.

Yes you're right in what you're saying - the sound evolved too quickly.

I played both of these on a long drive the other weekend, they are still brilliant now. Definitely miss this sound.

I actually won my copy, either on here or USH.

There was a competition to win this one one site, and Bonkers 8 on the other.
I won both haha!

I think the Bonkers 8 one was on this site. I have a slight recollection of it.

A guy i used to hang around with used to have this and he had it signed by Sy & Unknown, he also got a few other cds at the time signed by Sy & Unknown, the ultimate hardcore album and maybe something else, possibly original hardcore, they where all released in the same year, but don't know how he got them signed because they were all released on different labels! But just going through the tracklist there, some tunes i can't remeber, like the 2002 mix of Dreadland!!

Miss that Raver Baby sound and Jelly Baby sound, reminds me of my mid teens, those along with Evolution Records and Quosh really pulled "happy hardcore" in a new direction and a few others. You are right, it is a shame we didnt get more but at the same time, I see why everyone was worried, because when it went stale before and we got too much of one sound, the scene nearly died

Heaven on Breeze and Styles mix is still amazing. I can't help but think that the music reminds of another track possibly scott brown or even hixxy. something in that sound reminds me of Bonkers 8. But thats a great CD, I had it back in the day but when I was moving house some boxes were stolen from the removals. Someone just taking a chance I think and stole a load of my CDS, that included.

As much as I don't like AI generated music. I think it could be really useful here so we can generate more bangers in the same style :)
