I wear Kandi but if i got back to italy i know not to wear candy.......

i dont have a problem with kandi ravers and i have nothing wrong with them wearing kandi, its what they like to wear it wouldent change my opinion on them jsut b/c they wear something different then me

I think wearing Kandi is just perfectly fine. It may look silly these days because we aren't used to seeing people so colorfully accessorized. For the past two days I've been making kandi necklaces. When I was up to my 5th one I had already used over 484 beads. Yesterday the 2nd day I made like 5-6 more necklaces. You may think I'm insane but I like making them and wearing them because they have so much color. (depends on your pattern) But you know what??I really don't give... <are we allowed to curse in these forums?>...what people think of me. As long as I'm fine with it that's all that matters.

in sydney, every rave I go to, I'm always wearing my leg warmers n my kandi... it's almost like a uniform to me. I went to a rave (liberation) the other night, and i was wearing pants and no leg waermer and a little kandi, and although i had an AWESOME time- i felt a little strange without all my gear on

I think also being a kand kid is very much part of the rave scene and culture. It's funny cos we practically initiate and welcome ppl to become a part of the CRC by giving out n swapping our kandi- it's fantastic!
Also makes for a good convo starter..."ahhh look at your kandi... hmm that's a pretty one... can we be friends cos i'd like to see that bracelet on my wrist/arm" haha... nah, i love kandi, n i luv giving it to people. I've gone to raves with full arms of kandi and left with about 10 bracelets. HA! Also, I found heaps of ppl at raves that I never knew I'd given kandi to. It's been like "Sh*t man, I gave that to u, SWEET! let's dance" haha

Kandi kids look stupid, yes. But they're essential to the scene. Raves just wouldn't be the same without them. Sure, maybe their clothing is a little more adventurous than you would try, but if they're bringing such positive emotion and happiness to a scene that's currently overwrought with violence, hatred and 'gangstarrs', then more power to them. At very worst, you'll get a laugh out of the way they dress.

they can look good and some times they look bad.
it depends on the person wearing them i've met a few girls(the ones that are all smiles normally even when they want kill u) that wear kandi and i think they look good.
your not hardcore, unless you live hardcore!

to be honest i think i am 1 of very few candy kids in the uk!!!!! i dunno what is wrong with it if ppl can go around looking like they are dead aka maralin manson and have nuddin sed of it why can vwe walk around with our dummies and beaded kandy and all that crap soooo annoying but still i still walk out of my house with hello kitty trousers on[:P]
