Anyone know the name of the original (besides "Summertime")? I heard it as backround music on mtv once but I still don't know the name. Sounded like a Neptunes-produced song though if that helps

There was a hip hop tune that used these vocals, Styles - "Good Times".. the original vocals are from Freda Payne - "I Get High (On Your Memory)"

I meant the music not the vox. It's the "groovy" part of the song that is playing during the chorus. I'm sure its taken from a mainstream song cause like I said I heard it on MTV, and MTV is about as commercial as it gets.

MTV, you sure? I don't watch it much, but I do not think a music video has been played on that station in a long time.

If it was a music video I would've gotten the name. I think it was punk'd or newlyweds or some other stupid shit that I only stopped on because I heard the familiar tune. I'm changing my description though, the part I'm looking for only comes on during the intro with the high-guy's voice (who I could swear is Pharell or whoever from the Neptunes) is going "I like-ta-like-ta get high"
