you're right. a ram file's is real audio's answer to an m3u or pls file,which tells real player the location of the file.
if you load up real player and go to open location,then type in the url of the song (extension will be .rm) it will stream it

but dont u need to download them packages to make downloads resume after disconnecting?! viscious circle! and as for having broadband net i cant get it ere yet cus they need 1000 signatures and only about 350 ppl in the town got PCs!!

ha ha the joys of country livin eh! Cable internet is like mobile phones, you don't think you need it till you got it, then you can never go back...
Have you tried to download DAP yet? I could try to e-mail it to you, dunno if that would work either though...

there's a program called go-zilla which resumes file downloads. dunno the web address but if you find it i'd recommend it any day. it's bundled with zip-zilla as well which is basically their answer to winzip

I used to use a program called "Getright" when I was still on Dial-Up, and I found that a very good program.
