Well you can get the tape packs and the cds. The artists dont actually get any money for the tape packs that are sold so it would be better for them if you buy the cds. I personally only really buy tape packs though. I get all the tunes i want anyway so if i wanna put a simple mix together like on the cds id rather do it myself than pay 10-15 quid for it.

new tape packs are generally crap as theyre all just full of raver baby / evolution / essential platinum stuff, no variety in them. I never really buy one from 2000 onwards.

I guess you only listen to Styles, Scott brown, Breeze and Dougal then. I actually liek the new tape packs but that coz most of my fav tunes are coming from those labels. I think Sy plays a fair bit of other stuff too and theres always a dj or 2 in there that add a bit of variety to theire sets.

i agree, sometimes the dj's / songs on the packs are almost impossible to get hold of anywhere else. plus alot of the "up & coming" dj's get they're first stuff on a tape pack.... the "in effect" tape fron HH may 24th is wicked, and so is the Cris e manic stuff on the united dance packs from a while back cant wait for d-ice and reality on the slammin NYE pack!

I've never bought a tape pack, i dont like tapes and CD's are enough to keep me satisfyed. If there arent any new CD's released i usually buy older CD's (well i do that anyway), i dont really care if i dont hear a new tune immediately when its played the first time. Also i have to keep my eurodance, rave, eurotrance, jpop, punk, finnish punk etc collections updated, so i dont have the money to buy every hardcore release :)

Although i almoust bought that HH Awards tape pack, coz they didnt release it as "Hardcore Heaven 3" CD :(
